This was a Christmas gift for 3-1/2 yr. old grandsons.

They love the Cars 2 movie, and know the names of the individual cars. The cars and all the pieces in The Pit Stop set are made of sturdy plastic.
My grandson's really enjoy playing and using their imagination with this set.

There are no negatives.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

great product! My 3 and 2 year old love this set, along with the other cars duplos. We have no trouble with pieces not staying together. The cars figures are the favorite pieces.

Not good quality

I did not like this set at all. I thought it would be good for my 4 year old to start playing with legos but I did not like the quality of it. The pieces would not even stay together. I couldn't even get them to stay together so we returned it for one of the cars sets that is made for older kids.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
