Don't buy this for kids. We bought this for our 3 and 1 yr old, but the springs are so tight that they can hardly get it to bounce. They have spent more time just reading books on it than actually jumping. It's disappointing that my 3 yr old who loves to jump, thought it didn't "work" after Daddy put it together.

Our OT suggested that we buy a mini-trampoline for our energetic son. It's supposed to be great for kids who seek extra stimulation. It's sturdy and doesn't bounce too high. The springs are very tight and completely covered with padding. It is large but can be propped up and stored against the wall. Great for bad weather days.
