This costume is very cute and the little hat piece is what really makes the outfit! One note of caution: I tried to wash it because after the first little one wore it for a previous Halloween there were some little 'dribbles' that I wanted to clean off! I put it in our front load washer on 'handwash' cold cycle and was extremely disappointed because the black stripes (which were painted onto the yellow) faded to the point that they are gray and now the yellow plush part is all dingy! Yuck! So if you buy this, be careful your little one doesn't soil it before trick-or-treating or partying and Don't plan to machine wash even on delicate cycles! Also, the hat seemed a little small for the size of the rest of the costume. Not a big deal for my little guys as they both seem to have small heads, but it would be a bummer if the hat wouldn't fit because your kid has a bigger head!
