We bought this for my daughter for Christmas. The parts did not fit securely together, it's VERY cheaply made and falls apart constantly. We've only had it 3 days and it's complete trash. We had to tell our daughter that Santa sent us a letter saying he was sorry that his elves made her a bad toy and that he made arrangements for us to pick her up a better toy. She was heart broken none the less.

My Daughter is 2 years old. We bought this for her on her birthday, because she loves helping me cook. First of all it is CHEAP!!!! The plastic is so thin. The TV swivels on the side, broke off the first day. The cardboard they use for a sceen on the back lasted 30 mins. It is just poorly thought out. Although most of the time I got for things that have my daughters favorite characters on them. After buying this. I will not do that anymore. I will go with the Step 2 products. My mother in law found a kitchen made by them at a thrift shop and my daughter plays with is everyday, and never has troubles out of it.

Very cute girly kitchen, but that's where it stops.The backing and the window picture is cardboard and it comes straight off. The refrigerator has no racks and the door always pops off. The oven doesn't have any racks and it always pops off. The side table and tv/board always pops off. It's a mess. I bought this for xmas to replace their old kitchen, needless to say, they're old kitchen is still standing. It says it plays music, but it plays 5 seconds of each song. Buyer beware! Parent beware! They played with the kitchen 3 times..smh.

My daughter received this for Christmas and we are so disappointed in it. We were so excited because it looked so cute. It is adorable, but VERY flimsy. The pieces don't stay together. Pieces fall off almost just by touching in. A piece completely snapped on the 2nd day which does not go over well with a small child. They have a great concept, they just need to work REALLY hard on the quality.

Purchased this without seeing any store examples. Only thing to go off of was the photos on the box and online. Figured I'd take a chance, since it was 50% off at the time. Last minute Christmas gift.

The assembly was not terribly difficult. One person could put it together without issue. Unfortunately, the materials are not very sturdy. And, as expected, is a small unit overall. For those with little room, I'd say it is acceptable. Thankfully our 3 year old is very small for her age.

One complaint is that the interior does not have "compartments". It doesn't have, say, a separate fridge from the oven/dishwasher. The interior is all one big "box". The bottom of this interior is a plastic grate with large holes. This makes it so fake food doesn't sit properly, if at all. Most items fall through the grate to the floor; so you're constantly "saving" the food for your child. Also, the fridge and oven doors close/open kind of difficult for little fingers. It takes some prying before the door opens.

The one pro it has going for it is the noises it makes. The stove makes boiling or frying noises when the pot or pan is placed on it. It thankfully shuts the noise off after about 20 seconds; so as not to wear out the battery. The phone base also plays short music clips or phone ringing, ect.

Overall, I gave this a 3 because my 3 year old daughter still enjoys it... maybe because she doesn't know there are better ones out there to compare this to. Maybe she'll get a better item next Christmas.

I did have a little trouble putting the kitchen together and in the interim, the leg broke off, and also the handle to one of the doors, the backdrop for the kitchen kept on falling down and there was also a side piece with Barbie's picture that would not stay attached.
