It may have simply been the way my daughter fell, but her first fall in these skates and parts (plastic, high ankle straps) were both broken and coming off the skates. I guess you get what you pay for, and these are obviously not the most expensive inline option, but it's disappointing to have something break so easily in a situation - a slow speed fall - that most children will face while skating.

I brought these skates for my 6 year old for Christmas. I wasn't sure if I should purchase these or the old fashion skates. These were the best choice since I wanted her to learn to roller blade and not use the old fashion skates. Great choice!!

Santa bought these roller blades for my 5 and 7 year old girls that were just learning how to skate. So far, they have been perfect... no complaints. I got them when they were on sale so it made the good price even better and since my girls have really just learned how to skate, they have been perfect.

My 5 year old loves these skates! She's used them both indoor and outdoor. The buckles are a little hard to click and unclick but it's not that big of deal. Great skates for the $$

I bought these for my daughter, for her 7th birthday. They are great for outdoor use. The wheels are really hard and are not suitable for indoor rink use (they slip and slide everywhere!). The buckles can be difficult and often she requires my help while putting them on. For a good time outdoors these skates will suffice.

The quality of these skates is very poor. Right out of the box the buckles didn't latch. After closer inspection the lip that catches was broke off all of the buckles. It was a cheap plastic that bends and breaks easily. They make them look good but that is to just get them out of the store. By the way: After returning the item we were back looking at other skates and an employee brings the same skates that I had just returned and put them back on the shelf.

This product was great for my 6yr -old just learning to skate. They are comfortable and I love that they grow with her. The bearing are not fast, she uses them outside, so it's good for the beginnier.
