The instructions included with this product are horrible. I couldn't decipher them, no child would be able to on their own.
The "card" is a perfect example - the intructions have a handy little list of "what you'll need" before getting started, but I would say at least half of the items that appear on the finished card are not on that get-started list.
The modelling tips are useless.
And GOOD LUCK trying to cut anything with the scissors included in the set.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I bought this for my daughters after they saw the commercial and went gaga for it. Its a great craft time activity because it allows the kids to be creative and most importantly keeps them busy.
