My 3 year old daughter loves dinosaurs. We have a dinosaur museum in the town that I grew up in, so we took our daughter there and she just fell in love with. When we got back I bought her this game and she thinks it's the next best thing to chocolate. She LOVES going on dinosaur digs. She asks for this game first thing in the morning every day!

My daughter loves dinosaurs and enjoys playing this game. A few problems though. Once the game is completed, she finally builds the t-rex (her favorite dino), and then the next time she goes to play it, she has to start again at level 1 and her t-rex and all other skeletons are gone. Throughout the rest of the game, the other skeletons are saved and she can go back to play with them as often as she likes. I understand why levels 2 and 3 are locked initially, but once the child has used these levels it's boring and pointless for them to have to return to level 1. I see no reason why progress can't be saved so the child is free to use all the features of the game once they've been initially achieved.

My Son who is 3 almost 4 loves this game! They not only get to dig for bone and build dinosaurs they learn great hand eye cordination with the games that they can play.

I love at my six year old son can win a bone-dig by doing level 1 by winning 10 points each time. My 8 year old daughter can win a bone dig by doing level 3 and getting 25 points each time on that level. 100 points total wins the bone-dig. If u dig up all the bones of a dinosaur, you put the bones together and the museum now has an additional dinosaur for their exhibit. The games are fun and learning about omnivores and carnivores and herbivores is great. My kids learned that we are omnivores. Playing a carnivore dinosaur, you only feed him other animals. With the herbivore, you avoid other animals and you eat all the plants you can. Just try the game. It's fun. Little kids might need help so look over their shoulder until they get the hang of it.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

My son got this when he was 5 and loved everything dinosaurs. This was his favorite game by far...for a few months. It is very repetitive and the only leapster game he "conquered". It just ends... You have to start over every time and doesn't save your progress. It s a good game for a dinosaur lover but short lived on the excitement scale.

My 4 year old son loves to play this game sometimes. Problem is, I only get to play when he gets stuck! I can't get past the pterydactyl to get the triceratops home to his family. Dang! A kid game has me perplexed! I love dinosaurs and this is another way to share this fun with my kids.

Ordered for 6 year old grandson and when he got it, installed himself and according to his Mom (my daughter) is loving it and is progessing up the levels. So far there are no negatives about the game and is both fun and a learning tool.

Other sites were charging much more evidently as this is a "hot" item. Price was very good and delivery swift.
