This teether is wonderful for my four month old who is constantly wanting to explore everything by putting it in his mouth. He loved the Sophie Giraffe but the squeaker was so loud that he would startle himself. This teether has so many textures and areas he can chew on and with the rounded handles he can keep a grip on it himself pretty good. Yes, it is more expensive than some other teethers we have bought, but you get what you pay for and this is worth every penny!

Bought this for my 3 month old baby. It's easy for her to hold and bring to her mouth to chew. Price is a little on the steep side but I've tried the plastic teethers with the water inside and she doesn't seem to like those.

I placed an order for a Sophie giraffe teething ring and didn't receive my order. Eight days later I called about my order they told me it was never placed I was fuming, I had the money taken from my account and nothing to show for it, I was then transfer to someone that claims she would order the ring and have it ship as priority mail however, in order to do so she needed to transfer me to corporate office so they could assist me with the free shipping (because it was a screw up on their part) I was hoping at this point the item would be free. I kept calling and being transferred to corporate and no one picked up and this went on for six hours then I finally gave up. I never got the Sophie ring in time and the entire experience was annoying. I must have spoken to 10 different people that day none of which helped.
Also the first time I placed the order I used a coupon which didn't work the second time it says (I already use coupon) but my first order they claimed was never placed. MOST FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE EVER!!

I bought about 6 other types of teethers, and then my mom bought this one for my son... for some reason he loves this one and could care less about the others. I think its because of the handles, which are easy for him to grasp, and the position of the handles make it easier for him to put in his mouth.

At only 4 mos my little one could both grasp this and get into his mouth. Big Sophie looked just too big, but this one "fits" him better.

I bought this for my granddaughter b/c my daughter had read online that it was a "must have" for teething babies. I couldn't believe the cost ([$]), but bought it anyway b/c my granddaughter was suffering so much, especially at night. The packaging was organic looking & unique. It's apparently a product from Paris,France as the store display had a picture of the Eiffel Tower. It is made of rubber rather than plastic. The baby chewed it a few times & threw it aside, even though we still offer it to her often. Long lasting numbing lotion works best for this little one. I wish I had saved my money!!

Love this teether! It is durable and I love that it has two different textures for the little guy to teethe on. Washes easily and doesn't take up space in the diaper bag so its always with us to keep him busy

This product had really good reviews and my friend with a 5-month old boy had great things to say about the full Sophie the Girafe, so I was expecting my 4-month old daughter to love it. I was glad it was pure rubber and non-toxic, but somehow I think the rubbery taste turns her off. We are using this just as a toy for her to grasp, but I'm disappointed that she has no interest in chewing it. For the record though, she spits out a variety of different pacifiers, so maybe other children will have a better experience.
