The bike is soso. The "rev" handle already broke off, one of the pedals broke, and over the first winter both tubes went bad when stored in our garage.

The frame itself seems decent, but as with most cheap items these days, its the small parts that break and add up.

I would probably just skip the "themed" kids bikes and go to a real store for a decent brand if you want it to last more than one kid.

This was a christmas gift for my 5 year old son. The graphics are well done and it is visibly pleasing. As some of the other reviewers have mentioned there are a few cons. The main con being that the rev noise maker is part of the grip. The other is that the tire compound is extremely soft and gummy which is excellent for traction but I am now getting a replacement rear tire after it wore down to the threads in under 6 months. Overall a good and sturdy beginner bike and if you possess common sense and some basic tools you can assemble this in no time. The front hand brake is garbage and I removed this to reduce any drag on the front wheel. The front brake isn't necessary since the bike has coaster brakes.

Great design my son loves it. 1 downfall is that there no kickstand after you remove the training wheels. The seat does adjust easily. I don't think this bike should get less stars bc of assembly. Pay the extra & let toysrus do it for you. My hubby had no problems though :)

great bike for 4-7 yr old son loves this bike. this is not a bike for a 10yr old who is gonna ride it like a freestyler.
built well but tires are a little soft for a boy who likes the brakes.

Putting it together wasnt too bad, but I do like a challenge so if you dont consider yourself mechanically inclined, probably not the bike your looking for. The instructions that it came with were the generic instructions for all the bikes they manufactured, and Im pretty sure the model I had wasnt even in there. The wheels make some wierd clicking sound that eventually went away, but it deff scared me a bit. and the little noise maker attatched to the handle was broken right out of the box... which was pretty much the whole reason he wanted the bike in the first place. Everything else was pretty much ok except the brakes in the front needed quite a bit of adjustment, not for beginner putter togetherers.

The bike looks really cool. The decals and tires design, are better than most bikes. The rev feature seemed neat too, pretty boring though and with one good wreck it was destroyed. Which you would think you wouldn't need but it is the right handle grip. Without it you just have a bar. Also the training wheels are a joke. They move up and down while riding and bend very easily. The training wheels also have plastic tires, very cheap. Another miss is that there is not a kick stand. I would not recommend this bike and am returning to find another bike.
