- It's what you think it is. A gross-out fest for boys. Inject sugary mixes of goop into bug plastic cases and eyes to get gummy treats. Put fizzing powders in the brains to get "Bubbling Brains". Gross. But, fun!

- It does get messy ... not overly, but, it does get messy so don't use the fine china.

- You won't need to buy milk, krypton or any other ingredients unless you want to do the "bonus" zombie skin.

- It would make for a fun Halloween party keep-the-kids-busy

      My son wanted this for his birthday. We searched everystore in Fayette County looking for it. Finally found it online at Toys R Us. From the time we opened the box, it was terrible. Cheap plastic, not durable at all. Hard to snap together and breaks very easily. Waste of time and money on my part.

      My daughter chose this (of all things) for her 5th birthday. It was a fun family activity, setting up the contraption and "mixing" the ingredients, then cajoling each other into tasting the creations. They taste gross so don't expect anyone to eat them. The contraption is a bit flimsy. But the fun is in the activity itself. The whole things is gross and a bit messy, but completely enjoyable if you're doing it together and having fun with it.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      This toy is easy to set up, easy to use and easy to clean. My six year old boy loves it. The creations are gross and not delicious so he only tastes them but doesn't actually eat the stuff (a plus). He loves to get it out whenever friends come over so he can gross them out and they all want to take a turn making something. There is plenty of powder mix to make all the experiments multiple times. I don't understand all the negative ratings. We've been very happy with this toy and have even given it to friends for gifts.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      My daughter HAD to have this for Christmas. Was sold out everywhere I looked, but was able to get an order in when put on a waiting list. She was very happy to get it, but has only played with it once... She tried the Zombie barf and brains. Both had odd consistencies (duh), but it didn't sit well in her stomach. Neat idea, but looks to be a dust collector.

        This item is just as bad as the Creepy Crawlers Bug Makers!!! My son was so excited to get this for Christmas! We just opened it today. I expected it to taste like sweet/sour candy, but it was gross tasting that my candy loving kids couldnt even stomach it! I do have to say the two things that I didnt like most about it was the taste and that making the bug candy didnt work. The palstic containers (one in the eye and one above the eye) leaked as soon as we put the liquid in. My son (and daughter) were so upset!! I expected it to be messy, which it was but disappointing that it didnt even work!! Please dont waste your time and money, u will just leave your kids disappointed!
