Comments about Guidecraft Papagayo Table and Chairs Set:

When I was putting the together there were so many screws that were stripped that I couldn't manage to find enough working parts to get 1 chair together, much to my son's disappointment. There was adhesive all over some of the parts because of poor packaging. One of the chair legs had a chunk of wood missing from it and another part has a large paper thin piece of wood peeling away from the leg. I waited almost 3 months to get this because most retailers were out of stock and it was supposed to be a Christmas present (it didn't arrive in time).

I originally felt confident ordering a Guidecraft product because so many of their items have outstanding reviews. I love the pattern on the table and the chairs are adorable but the chairs are literally falling apart. Much to my disappointment and my son's, who is too young to understand why he can't play with it, I now have to repackage it and haul all 43 pounds of it all the way back to the store which is over an hour away from my home. I contacted the company to advise them of all the problems I've had but I haven't heard anything back. I will NEVER buy Guidecraft again!
