I always buy premium products, subscribing to the belief that "you get what you pay for." That could not be further from the truth when it comes to this carrier. It is horribly uncomfortable. It feels fine if you try it on without a baby inside, but as soon as you put even a newborn inside, your back, neck, and shoulders feel intense pressure. It does have the large strap that wraps around your hips, but due to a poor design, this does nothing to take the pressure off your upper body. It's basically just for looks.

I've bought Britax car seats and loved them, and I was certain this carrier would live up to my expectations, but it falls very, very short. I'm ready to just give it away and buy something else. If I could give this product zero stars, I would. My son doesn't seem to like it either, never nestling up and falling asleep as most babies do inside a good carrier. This thing is as good as trash to me.

I've used this carrier since my baby was about 2 months old - I was just nervous about it before that. But she has always fit in it well, and it only took a little practice to get her into it by myself (I lift her up and lower the feet toward the seat area, then hold/prop her in the crook of my arm to slip the feet into the foot holes). It's easy to wear and make little adjustments to, if needed. Once she was outward-facing, it was great for both of us. She smiles and flirts with everyone we meet, and has a fantastic time looking around and kicking her little feet, holding my hands if she wants. Now that she's 10 months and approaching 20 lbs, there's a limit to how long I can wear it, but a trip through the grocery store is still just fine. Much longer than that and my shoulders start to get a little sore. It's still my favorite way to get us both out and about, and I'd recommend it to everyone. The only downside I've found is that I can't see her face, but she's always happy in it, so it hardly matters.

I ordered this for a baby shower, not sold in stores - my aim was to spend in this price range for a gift. I also ordered a few small bath toys. Package arrived on Wednesday, the shower was the next Sunday. I opened the shipping box and found that the box the baby carrier was in looked like someone had bought and returned it. Box would not close, there were portions of the packaging torn away. It looked like there had been a price sticker which was removed, tearing away packaging graphics and leaving sticky grey residue. Does Babies R' Us even use price stickers? I called and said this looked like something that they would have marked down as a "scratch and dent" and that I did not want to pay full price for it. Suggested that they send new one and I return battered one, but needed by Sunday. They were unwilling to send new one until they got old one back. I then asked for a discount if I kept the old one as it looked like a return. They advised they could not do that. After much back and forth, the service rep said she would send me a return label for my package AND send a new carrier so that I would have it in time for the shower. Silly me, I believed her! I got the label, but of course, no replacement carrier. I realized by Friday it would not be coming, then looked at another retailer website, hoping it would be carried in their store. It was not available in their store, but on their website priced at significant discount to what I was paying. Needless to say, I told everyone at the shower about the poor customer service from BRU, as well as price differential. I will not shop here again, and I am happy to say, I influenced others in that regard.

So far I have used this product at home, and plan to use it for errands as well. My baby is 6 weeks old, and the infant insert is great! I use this when she wants to be held but I have chores to do or need to spend time on the computer. She sleeps through me sitting, standing, being still and moving around. I went to a different baby store and the customer service reps let my husband and I try on different carriers. This one he recommended as the most ergonomic and I love it!

***Does not fit large men. My husband is 6'6" and has broad shoulders and was not able to adjust this large enough to fit so you can kiss the top of the baby's head, which our wonderful rep instructed us as how to know that a carrier is adjusted properly.

This is the only carrier that Tegan liked instantly! It's easy to use and comfortable!
There aren't a million straps to fiddle with like other carriers out there.
I love the infant insert, my 3 month old fits perfectly in the carrier because of it. Can't wait to use the seat extender when she gets bigger!
The bib is great, too- it has caught many a spit up- but it's so easy to remove & clean!
We have tried the Moby Wrap and a carrier by Infantino, this is by far her favorite (her sling by The Peanut Shell is a close second!)
I highly recommend this carrier!!

Went to the store and tried on several carriers. This one fit the best and was the most comfortable. It was very easy to get my 15 pound 2 month old in and out of it by myself. The wrap style carrier I had planned on buying was very difficult to get the baby in and out of withour help. After I bought the Britax, I wore it for the next two hours while shopping and my daughter fell asleep within a few minutes. I wore in under my winter coat comfortably to keep her warm between stores. So much better then hauling the car seat around. It is worth the extra money. The online price was less then the store but the store manager price matched for me. Never hurts to ask!

I love this carrier!!! It is easy to get the baby in and out. It is easy to put on and the shoulder straps are really comfortable. I have used other carriers and this is my favorite!

I have SEVERAL carriers, wraps and slings...top of the line [$] and up and none of them compare to this carrier. I have tried them all my friends. This carrier is easy to put on and take off. I am currently using the Britax (as I type) for my 6 WEEK old baby boy who loves to be on the move. Since he is a summer baby it was hard to find an infant carrier that did not have a lot of material or bulky inserts that made both of us sweat. He fits in here just perfect and the head support allows you to give as little or as much room for him to move around. This also allows him to use his neck muscles some to strengthen them (bonus) I would highly recommend this carrier to any new mom with a summer newborn. Stay away from the infant inserts such as the Heart to Heart. The Ergo baby carrier which claims to be infant ready seems to be an after thought and the other top of the line carriers are to ridge or too difficult to use. Happy carrying! :)
