These are great blocks. It was not that hard to put them together. If they did not come flat the box to hold them would need to be huge. After a couple it goes pretty fast. They are sturdy and exactly what they should be. They are great for making a little fort or house or whatever you want to call it.

We ordered these for our daughter because we remembered how fun they were when we were little. They have met all of our expectations and more! They are so sturdy that she can stand on them! The only con is that they are a little difficult to assemble. However, once you get one or two done, it becomes much easier.

I bought these blocks for my 2 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves blocks...so I thought she would like these big blocks. After taking an hour to fold all 44 blocks of different shapes and sizes, she played with them for a second stacked a few and that was it. She will play with Legos for an hour. For some reason she was not thrilled with these blocks?!?! They are however made of a very thick cardboard. So hopefully they are durable, that's if she ever plays with them again!

First of all the blocks are cardboard...didn't know that until I opened the box. Then, you have to fold each one...what a pain. And they don't stack well. Don't buy them at all and definitely don't gift them unless you will help assemble the blocks.

It took us a minute to figure out how to build them. They are not very sturdy like normal blocks. Would not buy again. Disappointed

I bought these in the store and NOWHERE on the box did it say these were cardboard or that it would take hours folding all the cardboard into blocks. The cardboard also doesn't stack well so it's hard to stack very high at all. There is no way my 2 year old could build a fort with these. HUGE disappointment. Also my son keeps unfolding them and I have to keep refolding.

I thought these were vinyl or something of the sort. Boy was I wrong.

The box does not describe sizes of blocks included but the photo shows a tall child with blocks that come to his knees. In reality, there are no shoebox sized blocks in this set. There are way too many "pound of butter" size blocks.
We wanted the shoe box size to build walls and forts so we were very disappointed. The little blocks are so messy. The big ones are easily stacked and put away against a wall. The little blocks are always falling and a nuisance underfoot.

We bought these for my son (then 2yrs) for Christmas 2010. He plays with them EVERYDAY. Theyre great for building imaginations. He makes castles, houses, towers, robots, bridges for cars, anything you can think of. You can set them up like bowling pins, put the cylinders on and pretend to be a robot, replicate angry bird towers, pretend theyre cars or play food...just anything, theyre amazing. My husband and I remember these being our favorite toys to play with as well when we were in preschool. Theyre very sturdy and have lasted us for almost two yrs and are still going strong. They are constantly getting balls thrown at them, knocked over, stepped on and thrown down stairs and hold up great. I will be purchasing another set so my son (now almost 5) can build even bigger things.
