This is a labor of love. I needed an enxpensive kitchen for my two year old boy. This was it! It takes time to build and I knew that going in to it. My dad, and my sister's boy friend worked on this for three hours and half!! That being said! My son loves it! My husband had a bad cold and could not being to tackle that kitchen by him self. I added a few pots and pans, a blender from the just like home brand from Toys R Us and it was a perfect fit! The Little Tikes back yard BBQ food was a nice extra that I also added. No food with the kitchen and the pots and pans are pretty small. I still think it is a great little man kitchen for a boy!! I'm a stay at home mom and a former early childhood teacher with 19 years of teaching experience! And I think it is worth the effort to build this kitchen. Saves on space we live in a small house and it is American Made!!

I bought this for my two boys to use last Christmas. It was a hit until the doors all came off and it started to break apart! We threw it away and are now shopping for something that can stand up to being played with.

I'm sure people are going to complain about the assembly. Come on...this is basic stuff that we learned (or should have learned) in middle school. You only need 1 simple tool (a screwdriver) and something called common sense. People nowadays are used to convenience and ultimately laziness. No, your iPhone can't put this together for you. Sorry. I popped on a DVD and half way through the movie (Crazy Stupid Love if you are wondering) this thing was ready to get cookin'. I must add that I am not much of a handyman either, so the fact that I thought it wasn't difficult to put together should say something. Couldn't beat the price and the finished product looks fine. A little on the delicate side - it could be made of heavier materials so it doesn't sway so much when you are interacting with it. Other than that, it's a toy kitchen made out of plastic - what do you expect? My son will wake up tomorrow and I guarantee that he will love it.

this was a good buy for my little 5yr old sis.
it gets them to notice and learn the tools of the kitchen and makes them be more interested in cooking.
only bad part i see about this was the building part.too many parts to build. but not as hard as it looks.
