    It took me less than a minute to blow up the horse with the pump provided in the package. My 2.5 year old daughter loves to watch tv while bouncing away on her horse. She also loves to do a running tackle at it and see if she can stay on or get bounced off! It's made of a thick rubber material, similar to a pilates ball (etc thicker than any I've seen). I expect this will last quite some time. I think we'll somehow lose the pin that holds the air in (again... similar to a pilates ball plug) before we'll poke a hold or bust a seam (and I only see one, under the belly, so not scratchy parts on this horse)!

    I got this red bouncy horse for my daughter for Christmas. That was one month ago and it already has a leak and won't hold air. We have tried to patch it with several things and nothing will hold. My daughter loved it while it lasted. I was trying to avoid spending a lot more on the Rody horse, but I guess you get what you pay for.

    I got one of these for a christmas present when my first daughter was really tiny. Its endured 3 years of hopping about. My next daughter came along and the tug-o-war began for it so I bought a new one. Right away I notice the new one has a different design. The legs are longer and narrower than the first one we bought and its skinnier. The new one popped after 1 month. I am not a fan of the new design and where it popped at is where the longer leg flexes when its hopped on. The older design angles the legs out so they don't flex like the new one does. I'm really really disappointed in the new pony. Its their favorite toy to play with so I'm kind of sad to buy another one of the new design because I fear that it'll just pop like the other one did. I wish I could find another of the older design because that one has taken a licking and kept on ticking!!
    Overall their a great toy...I just don't like the new design. Its obviously faulty.

      We recieved this horse as an early Christmas gift and the one we received didn't come with a pump. We were able to bring it in to our store and get a new one and have had no problems with it. My 3 yr. old loves it, she bounces all around the house on it. We blew it up 3 months ago and haven't had to add air or anything. We love it.

          Bought this for my two grandkids ages 16 and 20 months. The older one(a wild child) loves it and we play jumpy-jumpy on it and wrestle it with no problems. The younger one is not as rowdy so does not play with it other than to carry it around once in a while.. It scares him because it is tippy. Seems very durable.

              I purchased this very bouncy horse for your granddaughter when she was 2. She is now almost 5 and has outgrown the horse, however she still loves it. We are looking for one that is larger for her. When she first started riding it we did monitor her, because until a child gets coordinated with the horse they can tip backward. But, most parents/grandparents should devote time to help the child until they get used to it. She has spent many hours on this little horse, and does not want to pass it on to her younger cousins. So, we are looking for a larger one, any suggestions where we can get a larger one. Good, quality product, inexpensive, I would buy another in heart beat.

                  We bought this for our 15 month old daughter for Christmas and she absolutely loves it! She bounces for a long time on it. My only complaint is the heavy scent that is on it when you take it out of the box and plastic. After a few days, though, it airs out completely.

                      My son loves to bounce on it. When he's hyper, I'll tell him to bounce on his horse to burn some of that energy that he has.
                      It teaches him balance and coordination which is what he needed to work on.
                      My suggestion would be if there was something better for him to hang onto while bouncing beside the ears.
