    This is a great toy if you can build stuff and a terrible toy if you can't.

    I agree that there are a lot of little pieces and the instructions are not that helpful, but, I found it easy to put together by just looking at the pieces and figuring it out. If you have the skills to do this then I think this toy will totally be worth it. I'm thinking of buying another one just so I can build an even larger castle with my son.

    The walls and the walkways fit together fit together very fine while the battlements can fall off quite easily but can be easily replaced even by my three year old.

    If you don't have the skills to put it together without instructions then I wouldn't buy it because you will be very frustrated but if you have the skills, patience, and love castles then this is an awesome little toy.

    We got this item today from Toys R Us and my son couldnt wait to go home and play with it. It had TONS of little pieces and it came without an instruction manual, just a black and white picture that you can barely make out. Aside from it being impossible to put together and taking forever, when they finally are able to play with it, it falls apart!Definitely not worth the deal. NOT EVEN WORTH THE ONE STAR.

    My son recieved this christmas 2011 .He loved playing with it for the 15 min it stayed up until he bumped it and different pieces would fall off and he would get upset. So, this mom got smart I went to the store and bought 6 tubes of super glue and glued it together.I know it sounds crazy but it was better than fixing it every day. Also not very easy to put together the instructions are hard to follow and very vague. This product would be better if there was a lock hold to keep them together.

        What a disappointment! Santa brought this for my son. It is cheap plastic which wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't a nightmare to put together with lousy instructions. He's only played with it for a day and 3 of the knights are broken and different parts of the castle fall apart with the slightest touch. Definitely not able to withstand average play from a 4 year old boy. It has been very frustrating and caused quite a few tears from a child who doesn't understand why Santa would bring him such a lousy toy. I usually am very careful to read reviews but I bought this on a whim while at the store since it was on sale. Do not buy, you will be disappointed. I am debating taking it apart, putting it back in the box and returning it.

          This product has a lot of tiny pieces that need to be put together and they do not stay together. It falls apart with a touch of a feather. Not appropriate for any age. Unless you want to glue the entire set together I doubt this toy is of any use. I had to give this review at least one star because it made me, but I would not even give it that.

                  My son loved the old Fisher Price castle my mom had saved from when his uncle was a kid, but they no longer make it. Looking for an alternative I found this castle and it was on sale. What a deal, right? No. You get what you pay for. This castle was in a zillion pieces, instructions were difficult to follow, and once together it falls apart the minute you touch it. He will be getting the Imaginext Castle for Christmas instead. Save yourself the trouble and skip this one!

                      My son was beyond excited to get this and his excitment turned into disapointment and tears. No instructions, took forever to "put together". The peices didnt even fit together properly. The whole thing kept collapsing and my son could not play at all. There were itty bitty tiny peices everywhere. The plastic was so flimsy and cheap. BEYOND TERRIBLE! Do not buy! I don't even know how they can put this on the shelf to sell. I feel bad for any kid who gets this for christmas.
