Round 2's Captain Action has excellent articulation. The head sculpt is a major improvement over the 1960s version. It is good that the price has dropped, since most people will buy this in conjunction with one of the costume packs.

This Captain Action figure is only the start of the line. As a kid in the early 60's, I loved Captain Action.

Not only on his own as a totally original super-hero, but because he could turn into other heroes like Captain America and Spider-Man.

The re-release of this venerable line adds more play value with great accessories, a more poseable figure, and costumes much more accurate to the comics.

We now have Thor and Loki (for his nemesis, Dr. Evil) as sets that didn't exist when I was a kid, with Wolverine, Iron Man, Batman and Superman in the pipeline.

Now is the time to stock up on the basic figure, because you're going to need lots of them for all the neat suits coming out.

I collect this figure, but there's lots of play value for kids in these sets. As a kid, I rarely put mine down, and loved Captain Action more than G.I. Joe.

Captain Action has always been largely a product full of potential with mostly underwhelming results. Round 2 finally connected with that potential and recreated a figure that meets not only the requirements for nostaligic collectors, but recognizes the advances in 1/6th scale products today. And the costumes are truly the ultimate pay off in this line. Imaginatively crafted to reflect the artwork of Marvel's most iconic artists! THANK YOU! Someone noticed after 40 years. Well manufactored, this line is reasonably priced and marketed well online. I do wish TRU did a better job of advertising and showcasing him in isles though. His shelf space is very limited and not quite as visible as it should. Round 2 would be well served to ask them to make more effort to place in normal view so he is not overlooked. Overall though an excellent job. I'm excited to see more heroes. Keep up the great work Round 2!

When I saw this figure online I was like "eh". When I saw the cap't in the store I had to have him. This is an excellent re-interpretation of the original from the 1960's, not a reproduction. Great flexibility and articulation. Nicely balanced for numerous poses w/o the use of a stand. The uniform and accessories are first-rate. Very well made overall at an amazing price-point. I came back to TRU for the Captain America, and Spiderman costumes for him within 2 weeks of purchase.

I bought Captain Action for my son, so he could turn him into Captain America (with a costume purchased separately). He's a great action figure, and my son seems to have lots of fun playing with him.

Window box is well designed, and shows off the item well. The item itself is very easy to pose and play with. The uniform comes off, we also bought the Captain America costume set. Great quality of all the pieces. Very durable and Very happy with this purchase I would recommend it without reservation.

Forty-plus years in the making, but, worth the wait. To quote the prior reviewer, this figure IS a work of art. I especially like that there are different versions of this incarnation. Keep up the good work Round 2: more costume sets, and an Action Boy type side-kick. Finally, the price-point is more than reasonable.

Captain Action was the first action figure I received as a child many many years ago. Now I can relive that thrill with Cap's re-introduction. This version is a fine update to the original figure, with his accessories being styled to resemble the artwork on the original box from the 1960's instead of just being solid blue plastic like the original. Only complaint is that the suit doesn't fit as well through the shoulders, so raising his arms makes the sleeves slide up his arms. All in all, a great homage to the Captain!

but the sword holder is very weak it broke off of the belt but still A cool toy i love it but hay, better than the 60's one but still they should make more suits but it is still a cool toy
