I purchased this item for my preemie daughter(9mths), at first I was impressed then the light bulbs went out then the mobile stopped all together, music and spinning. I returned it for another, my daughter really enjoyed the lights and music was soothing. But now, again the same thing happend, bulbs and music went out (less than 6mths). I returned the mobile and requested a gift card, which dissappoints me but I don't want to go thru this again. I am in the process of writing a letter to FISHER-PRICE in regards to this mobile. FOR THE COST; I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS MOBILE.

I got this for my baby when he was 4 months old and first moved into his crib. He's almost 13 months old now and still loves it! He turns it on whenever he wakes up in the middle of the night, and it soothes him to sleep. He also turns it on at nap times. So, we've had it for 8 months, it gets at least an hour of use every night... Maybe it's TOO good, though - I'm thinking I might end up attaching it to his toddler bed one day! ;)

I absolutly love this mobile, and more importantly my son loves it. He's had it since he was born over a year ago, and he still likes looking at it. The animals are great, and that they light up is a big bonus (not many mobiles do). Never had any problems with functionality, and obviously when the lights start to dim, it's time to change the batteries. Which is not too often.

This mobile is amazing! We received this for our first child, and he has been and remains captivated by this! It soothes him when he fights off sleep, and the music is nice and soft to lull him to off to dream land. The lights are incredible, and they don't abruptly shut off when changing a setting, so your close-to-sleep baby won't jolt awake. No problems with the animals not lighting up so far. Maybe it's just our batteries? Haven't had to change them in a month! And we are frequent users. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I have had to exchange it three times now. Each time it is a problem for the customer service department at babies r us because I do not have the original receipt. Why I had to exchange: 1.after assembling it didn't work at all
2.after assembling lights did not move or light up
3.after having for a 30 days one light quit working
Now I am just going to cut my losses and see if the customer service department at my local babies r us will let me get something else. I am really disappointed with this product that I spent good money on just to be let down. For those of you who are reading this please don't waste your money on this. Yes it is nice with the remote and you don't have to keep winding but when it keeps breaking its not worth the extra trouble.

It's 4am right now and this mobile just did it's job! I have twins and they both love this mobile. Their smiles and the mobiles ability to soothe them gives it a 5 star rating in my book. It was expensive but I bought this in desperation when my babies were newborn and would cry when put in the crib. I saw instant gratification from them on our first use. That made it worth every penny. The minute they see the lights on the mobile they just grin. The music, lights, and movement are soft and soothing We had a cutesy manual mobile with our first that matched the crib bedding. It was expensive, loud, manual wind up, and didn't soothe my baby at all. With the exception on price this mobile wins the prize. And desperation really has no price! Here are my cons but remember I still give it 5 stars because in the end it does the trick and that's what really matters. - You can't turn it off by touching the button again. You have to power it off totally or just let it finish. - we have 2 cribs and it attaches much easier onto our standard Jenny Lind style than it does our fancier crib that has wider flat spindles and a thicker top rails. - The lighted portion that displays stars on the ceiling lacks. It does not move or anything. My babies are not interested in this feature of the mobile. (The other features totally make up for this) - Price I am probably going to end up buying another one of these really soon once my babies move to separate cribs and despite the cons I will purchase this same mobile.

bought this looking for a more entertaining mobile then just a regular one, and it turn out to be the best one yet... from the glowing elephant lion and monkey to the music an the projection light! realy theirs one to top it yet! except like any batterie opperated device it runs out fast.

Like many who purchased this product, I was upset about the blue elephant not working after a period of time. After reading other reviews I thought to myself, this is odd...maybe I should try the easiest answer first and change the battery. Once I did that, the elephant and the entire mobile worked wonderfully. Before you give up on this fantastic product, try replacing your batteries. Now the animals glow bright, the music is louder, and it continues to keep my daughter's attention. This mobile is so wonderful that my child turns it on herself in the early morning hours and continues to keep occupied and quiet. Don't give up so easily. Batteries do not last forever.

My son is 8 weeks old & we love, love, love this mobile, but after just a week the blue elephant does not light up anymore. This makes mom & baby super sad! How do we fix it or will you please send us a replacement mobile? I am a first time mom & any toys that will keep baby happy are heaven sent, so we need our blue elephant to work pretty please. thank you so much for your time & consideration. We have been faithful to fisher price for generations so I hope we can continue.
