My daughter received this item as a gift to hold and store/display her new monster high dolls. The cases do not hold the dolls unless they are on stands. Not all the dolls come with stands. Made with cheaply made plastic and cardboard.

I know it's called a showcase, but I was expecting more of a storage case, like it zipped up to keep things in it. It really is a display case. It's got no cover in front, and you stand the dolls inside it to display them. When I opened it up, I was surprised by how flimsy the plastic is. It's cute. but not what I was expecting.

I love this item! Yeah it's cheaply made and the backgrounds were a little curved but if you take the time to to flatten them they are fine. If you are careless I'm sure it would break but it's [$] and totally cute! My backgrounds flattened out just by having them in the stored in the thing. I would recommend this to anyone I think it was worth the money and the dolls look adorable in it. I didn't give it a full five stars just because I can see it breaking without proper care but it's a great item!

Very poor workmanship...very cheap and flimsy lookin' -in fact, we returned it -because we didn't feel it was worth it-even though it was on sale when we bought it.
You'll notice its the one item that still sits on the shelf-when every other MH item is sold.

Items were ordered because they were in stock, I was given a confirmation and a approximate delivery date. Two hours later told that items were on back order. Then 4 days later order cancelled except for one item. How can an item be in stock, then suddenly be out of stock. There is no excuse for this to happen. Toys R Us continued to sell the ordered items on line but no offer to compensate or reorder the cancelled orders. Just an insincere we're sorry. If I would have known I could have gone elsewhere for the items, but by the time I found out they didn't have it, the other sites were sold out or the prices jumped 3 times the original price. No excuse for Toys R Us.

This is the worst product I have ever seen. It is made of cheap plastic and the thin cardboard wallpaper will not lay flat. They are all warped. I bought three and they are all the same. Mattel should be ashamed of themselves for putting out such a lousy product. If you made products in the U.S., this would have been made properly. Mattel.......wake up and think about how you would feel if your child received this as a gift!
