My 2 year old received this as a Christmas gift and loved it....then lost interest after about a few weeks, when the kicking mechanism and head bobbing mechanism on Mickey broke. Now, 3 months later, all he does is the split. Seems like we aren't the only ones who have experienced this same issue. Not worth the hefty price tag, if you ask me.

I was so happy to get this for my 2 year old at Christmas, she played with it daily for a month and then it broke. Now she just sits in confusement as she waits for him to tap his foot or nod his head to the music and he never does. RIP OFF A product that used to sell for over 50.00 you expect to get more use of, especially when I made sure he was never thrown around or mishandled.

We love our rockstar Mickey. We bought it for our very active 1 year old's first birthday (yes the box says 3+, I know) and he cannot get enough of this guy. He headbangs just like him and even moves his mouth to the sayings and songs. We are pretty sure this is where he picked up the "uh-oh" in his vocabulary! ;) learning toy?? I say yes! My child did, however, rip of Mickey's rockstar glasses on one side because that's how he decided to carry him around, but no worries!

its cute my son loves it hes 1 and a half but it only plays one one verse and kicks no clean up or other songs and no splits not worth full price, glad i bought it on black friday!

My son LOVES Mickey Mouse, but he wants nothing to do with this toy. It moves really awkward and does the splits and is honestly kind of creepy. He's had it for 4 months and has never wanted to play with it. Every time he comes across it he tells me to put it away. I think this Mickey is better suited for the trash than the toy box.

This is one of the biggest wastes of money I have ever spent. I should have known, these types of toys are exciting for 2 min. and then the fun wears off. But this one is particularly horrible. It falls over constantly, it's annoying and it is boring. Spends more time screaming "CLEAN UP IN AISLE 2" than anything else.

My son got this as a birthday gift. It worked for a short time and then just stopped moving but would still play whenever you pushed the button. After a short time it stopped working completely. Not worth the money at all.

Was a Christmas gift for my son who LOVES Mickey Mouse. He loved the toy but it only worked for like a month or two and that was it. So disappointed!

We bought this product for our 1 1/2yr.old son for Christmas. At first it was an awesome cute toy that entertained him esp. since we got the deal with the microphone uncluded. Unfortunately it only worked for a month maybe two. It started clicking so loud that you could barely hear the music and singing. Then is quit dancing and only would fall over. Oh course is officially broke right after the waranty we purchase with it expired. I think if they re-evaluated this toy and made it better then it would be a great toy. As of right now I would not recommend this toy esp. for the price.

We bought this when it first came out for my son's 3rd birthday. We saw the ads on the TV, saw it in the store, and my son was always asking for "Mickey Guitar". The toy itself is really cute, it sings and dances while "playing" the guitar. My son got a kick out of it. In order to play with it, it has to be on a flat surface, like a table or hardwood floor. We do not have much flooring in our house that is suitable for Mickey, but my son sat on the kitchen floor a long time playing with it anyways.

One flaw I noticed is that it's not that durable. Mickey Rock Star lasted less than a year for my 3 year old. I ended up throwing it away less than 6 months after buying it. For paying full price for this toy, that's a heafty bill for a toy that did not last long. It started clicking, and Mickey didn't want to dance anymore. He just fell over every time. My son did play with it quite a bit and sometimes it was dropped on the floor. He slept with the toy even, even though it's hard.

When we threw it away, Phoenix cried. He was sad to see Mickey go, but it was completely broken and we needed to make room for the toys that work. We ended up buying him the Elmo toy that plays the drums, but he did not care for that one as much as the Mickey mouse.

Mickey does the splits, puts the guitar up to his nose, bobs it's head, and it plays 2 or 3 songs.

I would recommend this toy, but it is not constructed to last a long time. We would buy the Mickey Rock Star toy again for him, and just may now that it's on clearance.
