    My two year old daughter got this for her birthday and she loves it! It comes with a mix of fruits and veggies, a cutting board, and a knife. My daughter loves to slice the food in two. One of the pieces got stepped on a bit and was dented, so be careful when the food is all over the floor because it can get dented in. Otherwise, I love this and my daughter loves to "cook" with it.

    This project is a little cheaply made but my daughter loves to play with the fruits and veggies. Unfortunately when I tried to order it for a gift I realized that Toys R Us is falsely advertising it. It is NOT sold as a 2-pack as advertised, they only ship you one pack. When the issue was brought to the company's attention they were unable to correct my order (after 3 tries). Similar products are available elsewhere, do not order from Toys R Us!

        I can't believe how much my two year old LOVES this product. She cuts the vegetables over and over, putting them back together again. I don't see how it can hold her attention for so long but it does. It teaches her colors, matching, veggies, etc. Love it!

        I read a lot of reviews that the velcro comes off and I can see how that happens especially if your child is anything like mine. She puts them together and "cuts" them over and over again. If the velcro falls off, I'll just super glue a new one on. Whoop-di-doo!

            Bought these in store. Gave one as a gift to a friend's daughter for christmas. She loved them but the velcro on the broccoli kept coming off. My Daughter (2) got the set of them for christmas from santa. Both her and my son (4) LOVE them. Play with them everyday. One of the pear halves didn't have a velrco on it and the one side of the broccoli's velrco comes off. (guess i'll need to super glue it or maybe hot glue it?) Need to call toysrus and see if I can get a replacement velcro or two... Overall I'm happy with the product. The plastic they are made with is very durable and fairly thick. Love that it comes in a case with a zipper that we can keep the fruits and veggies in.

            Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            I never received the fruit even though it was supposed to be a fruit and veg 2 pack; I only got the veggies and on top of that; the cabbage in the veg set had 2 of the same side velcro so cannot be stuck together to be played with. Very disappointing because it was a Christmas gift.

            This toy is great for teaching colors, fraction (1/2), sharing, sorting, matching, and so many more early learning skills. I can't say if the fruit set is nice because as of now I have only received vegetables. The kids are really enjoy "cutting" the food and serving it to each other.

              Unfortunately, this item apparently is not shipped as a 2-pack. It took 3 shipments for me to get the actual set. Keep calling customer service if it is advertised as a 2-pack and you only get one. Eventually, if you're not in a hurry, you should get the set.
