Use the online software to choose from ready prints or create new ones, and use the hair extensions with an ink jet printer to transfer the design to hair. Then clip the hair extensions in with the enclosed barrettes. Includes 2 barrette clips for girls or for Barbie® doll and 8 printable hair extensions that can be easily shared. Doll not included. Works with inkjet printers only. Internet access needed for online software.

    I was a little hesitant to buy this, as some of the reviews I read were quite poor. But the hair extensions worked as promised. The design program was quite easy for my 6 year olds to use, and they really enjoyed all of the options available for their design. It is sticky on the paper around the hair, which worried me when I was feeding it into my printer, but I had no issues at all! The hair was dry almost immediately. The clips that come with the extensions are small and difficult to use, so we used our own barettes and bobby pins, which worked fine.

    My daughter is 6 and she loves designing her hair extensions. The downsides are the clips are really dark and she has light blond hair so they are visible, and the extensions are quite sticky. We have sprayed the backs of the hair with a tiny bit of dry shampoo to get rid of the stickiness. Also they cannot get wet at all or they run. No they aren't gorgeous but I didn't expect that. She has had a ton of fun designer her own "hair" so the cons aren't that big a deal for me.

        My 13 year old loves this product because she likes to use the hair extensions for herself. She got the barbie last year but ran out of hair extensions so I had to get her the refills for her stocking.

            After reading some of the other reviews I was hesitant to buy these, but my daughter really wanted it. I'm glad I bought it. It works great. I didn't have any issues at all. I did let the hair sit and dry for about 10 minutes though before touching it.

              I bought this with my Christmas money. The Barbie Designable Hair Extensions are cool. They print out really cool but take a long time to dry. The worst part is the clips. They are really cheap and hard to use.

                    We tried for an hour to load the paper/hair extension with no success. The paper continued to get jammed no matter what we tried! It is very frustrating to my 11year old daughter to sit and wait after creating her design! It is extremely frustrating to a parent to watch your child try to help and problem solve with a product that is poorly designed. Don't waste the time and money on this one. Just pull out the markers and let them color the extensions!

                      I purchased these as a birthday gift for my daughter. Although they are fun they're just ok and not really real extensions. Now my 6 year old wants some hair extensions of her own. I found a great website [@]they sell colored clip in hair extensions for kids. I was able to buy pink, purple, and lime green hair extensions to match her barbie. She loves them and doesn't want to leave the house without them. The good thing is I can curl them to blend with her cute curly hair.
