My daughter reports that my 5 yr. old grand-daughter plays with this for long periods of time, and her friends 6-9 yrs old. join in! I did purchase the other accessories along with this wand otherwise it would be useless. Also, the ads do not tell which add-on accessories are interactive with this wand- ie which pieces light up.

THIS IS AN AMAZING TOY!!! its so cool how you can get colors from ANYWHERE! my daughter just turned 4 and she really likes it. my other daughter is 12 and she likes it too!Its really nice.

Grandchild LOVED and I have to admit the technology is wonderful and fun for all ages!!The wand is totally fasinating with the color change.

Daughter got this for Christmas and we have all had fun playingwith it. She loves picking up colors from all sorts of items in the house and shooting them to primsim.

"Santa" originally got Prism and the wand and Bleak for my multiply disabled daughter (mild Autism, neuro/muscular damage, sensory perception disorder...) and she LOVES it. Where as most toys that make noise and/or are busy light wise, she cannot get enough of her light sprites.

She is 4 with the emotional mentality of a 3 year old, so I had to extensively teach her how to use the wand (and each additional piece we ended up purchasing later), but they are so simple to use she quickly caught on. It encourages her artistically to break the "everything-has-to-be-the-same" mold. They are also very durable and have survived everything she has dished out.

I would highly recommend this to any "normal" child and would recommend it as a fun form of therapy for the "differently abled".

Santa gave this gift to our 4 year old daughter as an "extra" but it ended up being in the forefront of the favorites! She loves to pick up color from other objects and transfer them to Prisma. She then transfers color from Prisma to Meadow (another sprite) via the "share button". Its easy to use, and the glow is amazing. Its teaching our daughter about colors too, and she shares and play with her little sister (2 years old). This is a great toy! Different from many of the other "fairy" type toys on the market.

Both of my girls (8 & 6)love this product. They run around finding different colors to put onto the wand and testing it out on the character. There are games programmed into the wand for them to enjoy as well. They are going to buy more pieces to the set with their birthday money!
