We heard great things about Aquadoodle and asked for one for my son's 2nd birthday. His grandparents got him the Cars set, but I think we may have been better off with the original since I believe the mat is bigger. Once you write on the mat it takes a very long time to 'dry' and then you have to wait to write again. The car soaks through and takes much longer to dry than the pen. My son gets bored with it very quickly,
