The Barbie Mix Match n' Color Fashion Rubbing Plates is a classic rub and color play pattern: the plastic rubbing plates can be mixed and matched...place 2 plates in the unit, place paper over the plates and use the rubbing crayon to transfer the image to the paper, then color the transferred image. Set includes 2 sets of double sided plastic rubbing plates, rubbing crayon, holder, 8 sheets of paper and 6 crayons.

My daugther seems to enjoy this product. She loves to color. It does have a variety of different looks for the pictures. I was excited to get it for her b/c it reminded me of when I had Fashion Plates as a young girl.

Previous versions of this toy included 8 or more fashion plates. I was really dissapointed to find this kit contains ONLY FOUR rubbing plates. 16 very similar combinations aren't diverse enough to keep my 6 year old interested.

We gave this to my daughter (age 7) for Christmas. I was excited when I came across this item online because I remembered playing with the rubbing plates when I was a kid. My daughter loves to draw/color so I knew this would make the perfect gift. It's a simple toy that holds hours of interest. Oh, and one more thing, it's a quiet toy!

My two and three year old girls both play with this crayon designer product. They just put the plates in the frame and rub the crayon sideways over the paper. It;s a little blurry but they can then color it in and they love it.Also it was only [$] dollars.
