This is a great product. I found that the hair extensions were easy to put in as long as you push and twist while putting them in. They stay in pretty well during play and brushing. The doll is made of high quality material. I just wish that the doll was articulated, this would have made the doll even more fun. Great for all ages.

My hubby let my 8 year old get this for my 6 year old (insert eyeroll). Aside from the fact that I would NEVER encourage even the PLAY cutting of hair, this toy is impossible. I spent nearly 15 minutes shoving the hair into its head. For every 1 I got in, 2 fell out. My fingertips will never be the same. I can't wait until they lose the pieces and it finds its way to the bottom of a trash bin in the middle of the night.

The doll has holes in the back of its head for you to insert hair plugs into, the only problem is that these plugs do not fit! I spent 45mins.trying to get them to go in & when I finally got one in it fell out the minute I tried to put the second one in. DO NOT buy this doll. It was also way, way, way overpriced! Very disappointed!

My daughter says "Awesome Barbie". However, the plugs do not go in and if they do go in, they immediately fall out as another is being put in. Difficult for an adult, let alone my almost 5 year old. Great idea, but failed miserably in delivery.

Hard to put extension in and they fall out constantly. Basically, Barbie has holes in the back of her head, The extensions are plugged into said holes. If you succeed in finding a hole to fit an extension, watch out!! for every 3 extensions I put in 2 fall out.
I only gave it 2 stars because my 5 year old loves the Barbie only. She has given up on the extensions.
