    We bought this drum set for our grandson for his 3rd birthday and couldn't be happier! It took no more that a few minutes to assemble and he loved them! They sound really good too, not cheap.
    I recommend buying the first act stool to go along with this set. It's perfect.

        I bought this for my little boy for his birthday in January. it was easy to put together and it havent broke at all and he beat on it hard. i even knocked it down and nothing happen to it.

        We bought this for our son for his birthday. It's simple to put together and he just loved it. ONE BIG PROBLEM THOUGH - the supports for the snare drum, tom and cymbal are cheap and they started wiggling after a couple weeks. Before the 2 month mark hit, the drums and cymbal started falling off because the supports were stripping. After trying to find some way to repair it ourselves, we realized that the part of the bass drum those items were attached to was just too thin to use as a support in the first place - there was no way to thicken it without having to replace the drum.

        FYI - if you do purchase this, be warned - it took OVER A MONTH for the return to get back to Toys R Us from the date it was in USPS's hands because they use the slowest/cheapest shipping available (Parcel Post), and then after that month you have to wait 2 weeks before they will process your refund and mail the gift card. Plan on 2 months total, at least, from your first call to their warranty offices.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
