Comments about Childcraft Logan Traditional Crib - Jamocha:

My brother bought this for us as a gift for the new baby my husband and I are expecting. I was so excited to get this together but was quickly disappointed.

First of all: I wanted to point out that someone left a review saying it is made out of hardwood when the product description clearly states that it is made with pine.

Second of all: we had to exchange the first one that was shipped to us due to a giant splintering crack on the top of one of the head boards. When we got the new one in, the crib had dings all over the place and really rough patches that looked like glue was permanently stuck to the crib. This crib is clearly not made to ship but there are no other purchase options for it.

With all of that being said, the crib does go together very easily and seems to be sturdy. I just hate buying something BRAND NEW that you get and then discover so many defects on it. The crib is stylish and we have a matching dresser and changing table for it.

Comments about Childcraft Logan Traditional Crib - Jamocha:

This crib is very stylish and was pretty easy to put together. My one complaint is that there isn't a matching dresser. I tried to buy one I thought would match but it doesn't Also beware of the cheap wood used, if you bump up against it with another piece of furniture (or the wall), the wood gets chipped or scratched very easily. However, if you're only planning on using it for a year or two, as I am, it is fine.

We really like this crib. We have been using it since day 1 after coming home from the hospital with our baby. He sleeps well in it. It is easy to get him in and out of it while both awake and asleep. It also is very sturdy. It was fairly easy to put together.

Comments about Childcraft Logan Traditional Crib - Jamocha:

It is a lot nicer than the lack of description makes it out to be... and despite the US instructions, the Canadian ones for turning this crib into a toddler daybed are the ones you'll want to follow later on. It's decently made but the assembly instructions could be written better. Comes with all the necessary hardware to put it together as a crib and later to convert it to a toddler bed.

Comments about Childcraft Logan Traditional Crib - Jamocha:

The info in the listing doesn't do this crib justice.

                      - Made out of hardwood (so it's not going to scratch as easily as most cribs which are made of pine)
                      - Has metal springs like a real bed, not the cheaper wood board or slats
                      - Metal bushings so that unlike with the screws going directly into the wood, you can change the mattress height time and again for future kids without damage
                      - all the parts necessary for changing into a day/toddler bed come with the crib. Unlike the "lifetime" cribs where you pay twice as much as this crib and still have to pay more for each conversion kit.
