The dresser is beautiful and looks just the picture online. Although, the dresser arrived with no damage to the box, the dresser has several scratches and gauges in the finish and in the wood. The damage occurred prior to shipping, given the state of the box. Very disappointing to open a new product and find it damaged. Same issue occurred with the crib/changer we purchased from the same company at the same time. Unfortunately, we did not have time to send back and purchase another item. We will not be buying anymore items from Toys R Us/Babies R Us.

This dresser was SO difficult to put together I almost returned it. I like it now but wow... I hated assembling it. It took my husband and I prob over 3 hours to do.

Very nice looking. Construction is difficult unless you have lots of experience. All parts are not marked, and assembly method using long hex-head screws is tough. Even with both sides completely tightened, the rails between the drawers are loose. The hardware was nicely packaged however, and there were no parts missing.

I have the same problem as another reviewer. I built the crib/changing table, and the dresser. They are noticeably different colors although both were "Dark Chocolate" (color #207). I contacted Delta and they said that "regrettably, they were manufactutred in different factories and the colors may vary". They suggested that I return it, and make sure that the first two letters on the "Lot Number" match which would indicate the same factory. This would be impossible to do online.

When I first saw this piece I really liked how it looked - then my husband started putting it together and I realized how cheap it was. This was very difficult to put together, not too mention the pieces very cheap, as they cracked with assembly. We had to order 2 separate parts that both were on backorder. When putting it together, even for someone with experience, it is very tedious and complicated. Definitely think twice about buying.

This dresser was beyond difficult to put together. It took my husband and i 3+ hours to do. The instructions were not the problem its the balencing act you have to do! I highly recomend paying to have this put together.

The dresser looks better in real than picture. We got the set with a crib and absolutely love it! It is easy to put together. Looks sturdy so far.

This item was great! I was a little worried because we ordered the dresser in dark chocolate and the crib in expresso, however, they match perfectly and look really good together. It was super easy to put together, and only took my husband and I about 45 minutes to complete with clean up. It is really sturdy and I love the display sections at the top. It is a really great set, and will grow with my child. I love it!

We just bought this item as a set with the matching crib/changing table and they are supose to be both "dark chocolate" however the dresser has very noticable red/cherry in it. It is okay and you really can't tell a difference if yoru not looking for it but it was very noticable to us. It only took a little bit over an hr. to assemble and is sturdy.

Overall, it's a good piece of furniture. However, the assembly would prove quite difficult for anyone who doesn't have much experience putting build it yourself furniture together. Some of the assembly slots for the bolts to thread through are too small for the supplied allen wrench to make full turns when tightening the bolts, leaving you make small quarter turns, making the task of building a fairly simple piece of furniture quite daunting. The instruction booklet is riddled with typos and incorrect diagrams. It also at various points of bolting this unit together, you must be very careful to not overtighten the screws as the wood splits extremely easily. Do not make the mistake of trying to assemble the first three steps with the unit in a standing upright position. Build one side at a time.

My husband (who has a lot of experience putting together furniture) says that the instruction manual is one of the worst he has ever seen. Two hours into it, one of the parts cracked and now we have to wait for a replacement part which is on back order. I was hoping the previous reviewer's experience was just a fluke, but clearly it's not. Don't buy this dresser. It's cheaply made and of poor quality. Very disappointing.
