This thermometer is fast but completely inaccurate. I get different readings every single time. Even when placed on the correct spot we get a myriad of different readings. Terrible, I'm returning it ASAP.

Both me and my BF love this thermometer. Our little guy loathed the under the arm thermometer and this was a perfect alternative. He sleeps on his belly with one ear sticking straight up. Perfect for nighttime temp checks. It's so gentle it doesn't wake him and as long as you read the manual (2 lines) and place it in the correct spot, you get accurate, consistent temperatures. I have not 1 complaint about the accuracy or consistency of this product. The memory feature is a lifesaver to others like me with perm mom-brain.
I honestly can't believe some people don't like this item. I wonder if maybe they have defective models or aren't using the product correctly.
If you're on the fence, just do it. It's a great investment for the whole family's health.

I think this is the best thermometer to use. I personally do not like r#ctal thermometers and neither does my little one. This scans the same temp every time.

I use this product at home and at work. It is easy to use and is extremely quick and accurate. I don't like having to wait 10 seconds between readings but I understand why it is that way.

I purchased this thermometer for our preschool so we could quickly take the temperatures of children we suspected had a fever. It worked great the first week. The second week it started giving us really low temperatures (like 96 degrees on a child who had a 101 temp). I don't know what happened or how to fix it.

Please don't waste your money on this!! It never reads the correct temperature. I used it on my son and it said 103 degrees. I immediately used a regular r*ctal (apparantely I'm not allowed to type that word here) thermometer on him and it was a normal 98.5 degrees. I've used it on myself when I was sick and back to back readings were 97 degrees and then 102. AWFUL PRODUCT.

I thought this product seemed easy enough to use but it wasn't. I can't get the same reading twice not even when I use it on myself in the exact same spot I did 10 seconds ago. I usually really like the Vicks product but if you aren't into guessing games this thermometer isn't for you. It is quick to give a reading but whats the point if you are having to take it 10 times to get the same reading twice?

Love this thermometer. My 22month old hates having his temp taken, but with this he thinks it's a game and wants to use it.

Fast, accurate, easy to use.

My husband and I use it on our selves as well and it works great.

Fast for new baby's that are sleeping. wont wake or disturb them. lights up for better viewing of the temp reading.

Also back light color changes if the temp is slightly high or high. green is ok, yellow is slightly elevated and red is high.

one of the best investments we've made. Would recommend to everyone with or without children.

Worked perfect for me, got the exact same reading over and over again on me, my wife, daughter, and sick son. As long as you put it in the right spot (not hard), it works great.
