My son loves his trains! Most of the track and trains we have are Chuggington. Unlike all the rest of the track we have the straight track by Imagninarium only has track on one side. This makes it hard to use the Chuggington track elevator pieces as they have raised lines that go in the grooves on the back of the track to help keep it in place. The curved track from the Imaginarium figure eight set is double sided so I am not sure if all the straight track is this way or if we got a bad set

    We bought this straight set and the curved set to expand the Imaginarium Figure 8 track. These are all wood and are well made. We gave it to our son for his 2 yr old birthday. He takes apart the tracks and puts them together and connects it all and it's only his second day of playing with it. He loves it! I only wish it came with some "y" pieces. Those come separately in a different set.
