      I purchased this with the anticipation of using it to make food for my 6 month old. I was a little disappointed to discover on my first use that it does not seem to make a true puree. Rather the food comes out as a very fine chop so I was not able to use it as early as I had hoped. Now that my daughter is a little older and can swallow textures a little better I can use this to chop up her meals, but if you are looking to make baby food for an early eater do not plan on using this.
