Very cute toy with fun movement. However, I ordered this on the TRU pre-sell and it was shipped to me in an envelope, the packaging is thin plastic and by time it arrived the character was loose and two of it's legs had broken off. Hoping shipping method is improved.

I bought one for my daughter and within a day 2 of it's legs had fallen off. She was so upset so we went back and got another one which was $3.00 more....2 days later! The same thing happened to the second one that same day:( There were also ones in the store with the legs broken off. We will not be wasting our money on any more!

      I did read the reviews, yes, we have already broken one leg. However it is fixable with super glue. My kids loves the crabs. The move like real crabs and no mess. I thought it was going to be girly but it not too girly for a 3 year old boy.

              I for one was not impressed with this product. My grandson thought it was great until not even 6 hours into Christmas, it was broken. He is 9 and takes very good care of his toys and this one sure didn't hold up. He brought it to me in pieces. The second crab is still together, but he doesn't play with it much since it's companion piece fell apart. Not worth the money and can't recomend this product at all!

                Item is cute however does not run for long periods of time; have to keep pushing claw to begin movement. Tend to be a bit large to run through the openings in the Rio Village. Daughter was very excited about getting these for Christmas, but is a bit disappointed in their performance.

                  Fun! Fun perfectly describes Xia-Xia. They skitter scatter back and forth just like a real hermit crab, and my kids loved them! They can switch and swap their shells, and they even come with cute friends inside! One fell off the table, but no worries-The little guy was perfectly fine. Two claws up!
