I bought this as a Xmas gift for my son, however, I am disappointed in the quality. I am definitely planning on buying a different one for him. Too fragile for a 4 yr. old child.

Unsnaps into pieces very easily when picked up or carried. Can be frustrating for a child who just wants to "play" but keeps unsnapping when you move it from where it got stuck.

Can't maneuver out of places. Forward motion only. If you bump it into something (etc. couch/ door) you have to physically go up to it and move it to a free space again.. but BE CAREFUL moving or the body will unsnap!

Has small tires that can be easily lost along the snake's body. Not sure how it will affect this toy if you are missing a set of wheels?

We got this for my 5 year old for Christmas and he was so excited! My husband and I had a different reaction.

Eyes light up
Tongue slithers in an out
Realistic snake pattern when being operated

Cons
Cheaply made (came apart in the box and everytime it's picked up off the floor)
Loud (very noisy when being opporated)

My husband bought this as a toy for our son. He loved it. My brother-in-law put it together (took him a little while). My son has played with it all evening and has actually been taking it apart and putting it back together. He's 3. It works well and wiggles like a real snake. It does work better on hardwood then it does the carpet and is noisy but we're happy with it.

Read reviews before hand but still decided to give it a try.People either said theirs worked fine or it was defective. so I was hoping to get one that worked. Mine just made a noise and didnt move.So I will be returning it.

I got the Animal Planet Radio Controlled Rattle Snake for Christmas and it is so much fun! It works best on hardwood floors and not as well on fuzzy carpets. It is easy to assemble, and it moves realistically. I scared my Grandma with it!

Purchased this from the local store . When we got home it wasn't working. Everything lit up but the remote wasn't talking to the RC snake. We exchanged it the next day.Got the second one home and it worked... for about 5 minutes then the left wheel started sticking. I took it apart and unstuck the wheel. It worked for about another hour before the wheel started sticking again. This time I had to disable the tongue action to get it to work again. So far, its been working since then, but its only been another 5 hours. Time will tell if this thing last any longer. I doubt it. If you do get one of these I recommend opening the head before you use it and disable the tongue from operating.

Great remote control snake. Bought it for my four year old. He put it together himself. I don't agree with half these comments. My suggestion is to buy it and try it for yourself, if you don't like it return it.

Bought this snake for my son who is five and he just loves it. It works better than alot of remote control items. He gets it to go all over the place including on the rug. Going to get another one for my four year old. The only thing that I dont like is the antenna on the remote - you have to be careful not to swing it around your face.
