My son was given this toy as a gift and is very good at putting legos together but this toy is extremely difficult to put together. the instructions are horrible and the pieces are hard to put together and some don't stay together. I couldn't even put it together! This is the second mega bloks that we have that is very difficult. We will stick with Legos.

Overall not bad toy for the price but expected a little better......lost a small foot piece already....my 4 yr old son likes Power Rangers.....wished Mega Bloks made toys that locks in tighter so parts would not come loose so easily like Legos, but fraction of cost of Legos. It does look a little cheaply designed. But it was easy to put together and be prepared to take 3-4 hours putting it together with a busy schedule

My son is 9 yrs. old and this toy is very hard to put together. My son is able to put together any Lego set and struggles with this Megabloks. The pieces do not fit together, the directions have mistakes, and there is only 1 character. I would never buy this set as a gift.

My 4 year old son loves Legos and Power Rangers, so this seemed like a good option for him. The Mega Blocks version of Legos is not as good, but it's a nice toy. The directions have several mistakes, one of which, only our 4 year old figured out after both my husband and I tried for several minutes. He's enjoyed putting it together and playing with it.

Great figure to build with your child. Instructions are difficult for younger children (age 5) but if you do it with your child they will not be as frustrated.
It looks great when it is completed. I would not suggest putting the stickers on the figure like the directions show because it makes it very difficult to take it apart and do other things with it.

This appears to be a very nice set. I purchased it for an almost 5 year old boy (reccomended ages 5-7), but have not given it to him yet. When I saw that it was MegaBlocks, I mistakenly thought it was the larger size blocks like Lego Duplo. It is more like the traditional size Legos. I was unaware that Megablocks even made this scale. I still hope he will enjoy it, and I think he will, but I was a bit dissapointed. My concern is that he may not yet have the fine motor skills that he will need to build and rebuild something of this scale. Not to mention keeping track of all the smaller pieces.
