My wife and I bought several boxes of these because we have wooden furniture and fixtures all over the house and these were inexpensive. Now I wish we had tried several different brands before investing in this one. The backing to the adhesive strips is very hard to remove, and even when you're extremely careful the majority of the adhesive still ends up stuck to the backing instead of the product most of the time. In the few instances where we were able to retain most of the adhesive our curious toddler is still able to pull them right off with little to no effort. They are thick and soft so they have been effective, as long as you don't mind putting them back on 40 times a day.

I used these on the corners of my hickory kitchen table. They fell off in less than 48 hours. The adhesive is not sufficient to hold the product to the table.

once you get the adhesive off it works like a charm but if your not careful you can pull all of the tape off and then it wont stick at all.

Product works great.
I placed them at the ends our step from the kitchen to the LR and also at the bottom of our Kitchen Island. The baby was getting so close to it. Now its great, he continues to bump into it but its a soft bump instead of a sharp pain he would of received. At first he noticed they were there and continued to want to take them off, after removing his focus on them, he no longer looks to take them off. Their was sufficient tape on them. The only thing was that it was very hard to peel the tape cover off.

I was glad to see 3M name on the adhesive (3M300LSE) - until I actually tried to use them. It is impossible to get the covering off the back of the adhesive - in fact, it is easier to pull the whole piece of adhesive off the corner guard - clearly not a good idea - than it is to get the cover off. I have one more to install - unfortunately, the one I think is most dangerious corner, and I can't get the cover off the adhesive to save my life. What should have taken me 5 minutes, has taken me 20 and I'm not done! The two I got on seem like they will do the trick. Suggestion to 3M: Make a little tag on the corner so that it is possible to separate the cover from the adhesive. Not sure whether I'd recommend to a friend - maybe I got a bad set.

Easy simple installation and do their job. They're unattractive on furniture but there's no way around that.

These foam corners were purchased to fit a metal and glass coffee table made in the 90's that my husband and I are currently borrowing. It fits the corners perfectly. However, the table is extra long, so the long foam strips we purchased to fit around the rest of the table are not enough. You only get 4 to a package, so we would need to order another package to cut down to fit the rest of the exposed glass. It isn't worth it purchasing more strips at almost $10 a box, so we may as well just buy a new table at that rate. I do, however, like how it comes in black to match our decor. Overall, good product.
