    the back wheels didn't fly off within a matter of moments. Otherwise, it seems fairly durable.. but its hard to tell when you can't get the car to go further than 10-15 feet with the wheels in tact.

      I bought this for my 7 yr old daughter who loves Corvette's as a Xmas present. She took it outside and drove it right into my parents pool and it sank like a rock. My dad fished it out, removed the batteries and we let it sit overnight to dry out. The next day it worked perfect. She drove it all day and it still has the same batteries in it when we got it. It keeps her entertained and she loves it. I even have fun driving it around. It's a little slow, but not for a beginner child.
