The package says this item holds up to 8 Skylanders, so why all the complaints about how many it holds? The price may seem steep to some but this is a very nice housing and display case and we, like the others, place the portal on top and smaller items in the bottom. They do sell zippered cases to hold the bulk of these figures but you could always buy a backpack or lunchpack with a skylanders picture and it would serve the same purpose but at a cheaper price. I personally love the castle case and my son loves to rearrange his figures and he uses the castle case as sort of a playset where he makes his figures interact with each other.

this is a good product how ever i suggest you put the poke base on top and put the "item" figures on the bottom. You can store alot more that way. I use this for my harder to find figure so show them off with pride ^^. you do need to arrange them a few time but once you have it the way you like its greatness.

The Tower Case for the Skylander characters is very nice and well made. My only criticism of this product is that it only holds 8 characters!! Due to the popularity of the Skylander game, very few children have only 8 characters because each character does something different. This forces parents to purchase another case to hold more characters or, like my grandson, he just piles the remaining characters on top. Again, this product is not big enough!!!!

My son loves the tower carrying case. It holds up to 8 skylanders and came with 8 skylanders stickers. Instead of placing the portal of power in the bottom for storage, we are able to place some of the smaller items in this area from the adventure packages. It is durable and has a nice carrying handle.

Over priced for what you get. I got my son one, and this thing only holds 8 characters. Does not do any good because he has 24 characters. Dont waste your money on it

I have a wii this would be great I would only take eight to friends house anyway and a good sturdy case like this would work great. Granted there are 30+ characters out there. for me this is great I like to start and finish a game with one set character anyway. So I have only one problem the price, but that,s what birthdays and christmas' are for. that others pay the price...LOL.

It's a nice way to store a 1 basic set of Skylanders and base. I just need something to store the rest in. I open it up on my table next to me and just grab what I need, so it organizes my favorites. Waiting for something yo come out to hold the rest.

Great Design that fits perfect with the whole Skylanders World. We have it sitting next to our system and it gives us a great place to put our Skylanders in...we still like it and love the concept.
The negatives are the price, no place to securely fasten the Skylanders, only holds 8 characters which is pretty poor. I understand that not everyone may get all of the Skylanders characters, however, some additional ideas should have been implemented or available. This is the best case currently on the market. Fingers crossed that they come out with something that is equally as cool but addressing these issues at a reasonable price.

I thought it was cool when I first saw it. When I realized that for [$]it would only hold 8 characters, not so much. My son spent Christmas money on it. I certainly wouldn't have bought it.

This product only holds 8 Skylanders when there are 32 figures to collect and it does not fit the portal inside as described. It fits nicely on top, but it does not fit inside with the cord. Are they crazy charging this much for that?

We have 22 Skylanders so I went to the craft store and bought a clear hard plastic case used for storing and organizing craft supplies for less than twenty dollars. It has little plastic dividers you can slide in and each Skylander fits nicely in their little slot (some can double up when you need to but it fits them all). There are 3 slots in front that are slightly larger which fit the 2 location pieces and 4 magic items from the adventure packs plus all the cards and stickers, The case has a sturdy handle, and we used vinyl lettering to label the front for my son and it looks awesome. We're even going to add the stickers that come with each Skylander to the case itself, this worked out really well for my son and he takes it everywhere he needs to. Unfortunately, this doesn't hold the portal so I'm still thinking of ideas for that, but the tower here doesn't either LOL.

BOTTOM LINE: This product is not worth the money. I recommend a craft case which is sturdy, cheaper, and will hold them ALL.
