My 3 1/2 year old got this for Christmas. My 6 1/2, 3 1/2 year old and I played it for the first time tonight.

Good idea for the game. We liked playing it, but the pieces are way, way, way to tiny. Hard to even see what they said out of direct light. Wings keep falling off the plane.

Comments about Wonder Forge 1010232 Richard Scarry's Busytown Busy, Busy Airport Game:

My 3 year old son received this game for Christmas and we absolutely love it! He really enjoys flying the plane around and choosing which person he's going to take where. There's some room for imaginiative play (my favourite is turbulence on the way back to the airport) and the game board is beautiful - we spend lots of time just finding all the neat little pictures in the airport. The cards and passengers are pretty small, which is the only downfall of this game. Well constructed, and the dice tower is a great addition as my son doesn't have big enough hands to properly 'shake' the dice.

Comments about Wonder Forge 1010232 Richard Scarry's Busytown Busy, Busy Airport Game:

I received the Richard Scarry's Busy Busy Airport game from Wonder Forge. Opinions are my own (as well as my 5 year old son's own).
This is a WONDERFUL game, very sturdy and durable. My son & I REALLY enjoy Wonder Forge products! Not only are they built well but they bring to life your child's favorite characters and provide hours of educational fun as well as open-ended play!
Richard Scarry's Busy Busy Airport is not one of those sit down games. It's ACTIVE as you fly your airplane with it's passengers to 4 different destinations then collect your souvenirs. My son LOVED being able to pretend to drop off his passengers at the destinations. This is a game that your kids will make up their own game(s) to continue to play independently.
It's also GREAT for helping young children with addition. Once all the passengers from the Busy Busy Airport have been transported to their destinations, each player counts the number on their souvenirs to determine the winner.
As a child development specialist and mother, I LOVE games that teach children thru play! Your child will learn indirectly appropriate dress for climate and activity. Players will be able to distinguish the passengers destination (Beach, Mountain, Forrest and City) from what they are wearing. It's also a game that grows with your child, where a 3 year old may not be able to add the points on the souvenirs, they could count how many souvenirs they collected.
*There are many small pieces- dice, passengers, souvenirs.

Comments about Wonder Forge 1010232 Richard Scarry's Busytown Busy, Busy Airport Game:

I bought this game for my gold bug loving son for his 5th birthday. We have the Melissa and Doug Sandwich game which is the same sort of travel around the room and get energy out sort of theme.

This game is totally cute. The pieces, idea, and art are cute. It is even tolerable for some adult interactive rounds. And, the game is so simple it could be played with just one child.

The negative to this game is the construction. There are a bunch of TINY pieces. TINY cards for the people and cards for the souvenirs. Any parent knows that lots of tiny pieces do not mix well with children. They either get lost or the parent goes nuts trying to make sure they don't.

There is also a piece that you hook over the side of the box to make the tower for the airport. It is sturdy cardboard but needs to actually be plastic. Could it be that much more expensive to create it in plastic? After a few sessions with this game, I think it will get worn out, bent, or chewed (by my toddler).

Comments about Wonder Forge 1010232 Richard Scarry's Busytown Busy, Busy Airport Game:

We opened this game for the first time at a family gathering with kids, parents, and grandparents and we were so glad we did! The game is simple, but fun for everyone. My son loved flying his favorite Busytown characters to their destinations all over the room. I especially liked that there are a few steps to follow with each player's turn and that forces preschoolers to pay attention to the instructions and follow them accurately. There are quite a few smaller pieces to this game, which is the only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars. Overall, though, this goes on our list of favorite games!

We received Busy, Busy Airport from The Wonder Forge and opinions are my own.
