This cd player never worked properly. You have to put something heavy on top of it to get it to register the CD and play. I should have brought it back to the store but since I had returned one before that that didn't work properly I was so frustrated and just threw it to the side. Definately not worth it. Sound is not that great when i rig it play.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

We bought this boombox in February and it is already not playing cds anymore in June. The radio has never worked well. Definitely not worth it.

The cound lacks any resemblence of bass...I ported the sound out the headphone jack, into another set of speakers and the sound quality improves 1000%. For less than twenty dollars, I suppose it would be fine for children's music, i.e. Barney, Sesame Street, etc.

Just plugged in this Christmas present for my child and the machine makes a constant buzz/hum sound even when in the "off" position. It is getting traded in for an upgraded version.
