This pillow is in one word, AMAZING!

I have used several nursing pillows over the years (my oldest child is 10) and was skeptical that I could like ANY pillow as much as my Boppy. Boy was I WRONG!

With my Boppy, because it was so FLAT, I had to put a regular pillow (or the 2nd Boppy I have) underneath it to get the height/firmness I needed for nursing. With the Mombo, I have the best of BOTH worlds. There is a softer side for propping up baby to help her "sit" or for "tummy time" and I can simply flip it over for the firmness & support I need for breastfeeding!

The feature I think I love the most is the vibration that you can easily turn on or off when they are propped up on it. It works great to help my gassy daughter burp. The only flaw I have found is how easy it is to turn it on when it's inside the pillow. My almost 2 year old has turned it on himself many times just by leaning on the pillow and so batteries have been replaced a couple of times already in the 3 months we've been using it. We end up just removing the vibration part when we're not using it to save battery life since it's so simple to slip in and out of the pillow.

Washing it has been easy. I have washed the cover a couple of times due to a baby that spits up quite a bit. It hasn't shrunken in the wash like the Boppy covers have and so it was VERY easy to get it back on the pillow. The only thing I should note here about the cover is the tag started falling apart (the edge has frayed quite a bit) - this happened even before I washed the cover. I'm sure many moms will cut the tag completely off, so it's not a major issue, but I just wanted to point this out.

I noticed several other moms commenting about the "size" of the Mombo - meaning the opening part of it. Yes, it does fit a little snuggly, but isn't that the point of a nursing/ support pillow? I didn't want one that would flop around or move around when switching the baby to a new position. Despite it's "snug-ness", it hasn't deformed (stretched out) in any way which is wonderful! And, although it is snug, my husband has used it when holding the baby without a problem (and he's 6' 1" / 195 lbs)! Having said that, however, I can see how larger moms/dads MAY have an issue being able to use this.

I also noticed they have different covers available for it now and can't wait to get the Taggies one because our daughter LOVES her Little Taggies blanket!

PROS:
Firmness on one side
Softness on the other (and it's still VERY supportive of baby)
Cover doesn't shrink in the wash
Perfect height for nursing/feeding baby

CONS:
Snug fit (I can see larger moms/dads having some trouble using this)
Ease of turning on vibration (battery dies quickly)

YES!! I would recommend this to a friend

I was excited to get this pillow because of all the extra features. It turned out to be a big disappointment though, and I wish I hadn't wasted my money.

First the good:
- the firm side is nice for nursing
- the pillow is a good baby prop
- the cover is cute

and the Bad:
- the biggest problem is the size. It was made for a size 2 mom! I'm 5'5 and 160lbs and there is no way that thing was fitting around me. My sister who is probably 30lbs lighter than me - it barely fit her either. If you are carrying any extra baby weight around your midsection, this pillow will not fit you well. Instead it bunches up awkwardly which isn't comfortable for my baby at all!
- the vibrating feature is a joke. I was very excited to use this since my daughter loves her vibrating bouncer. First of all, the thing guzzles batteries, I went through 2 in the first week we had this. Also, if the baby shifts around on the pillow, they can turn the vibration on and off with their weight, so I would turn it on and come back to find it off. It eventually got to be more hassle than it was worth.
- Finally, the pillow seems poorly made. The bottom half is made of a thin cheap feeling fabric that started to develop tears along the seams almost as soon as I got it. The side with the stuffing has grown progressively more lumpy with use.

I'm angry that I wasted money on something that doesn't even fit me, and is poorly made. I will be able to get some use out of it as a floor pillow until my LO can sit up alone, but I could have done that with the boppy my SIL passed on to me. In the meantime, I'm still looking for a decent breastfeeding pillow that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

This pillow has been ok. It is a little tight to put around my body and the firm part makes it difficult for my son to nurse properly. I have not tried the vibrating part of the pillow.

i got this for my shower, thought the elephant cover was sooo cute, although the vibrating device i had to remove because it constantly turns on on its own, and my son did not like it. it was good for nursing, but he did not like to sit in it, and he looked so uncomfortable doing so.

I love this nursing pillow and I use it every day. My baby girl loves the vibration, which makes this pillow especially unique. If your baby is a wiggle worm like mine I highly recommend this pillow. It keeps her calm and entertained when she's awake, and puts her right to sleep when breastfed. I only wish it wasn't so expensive, you'll still need to purchase a cover after buying the pillow, and I like the idea of picking out a cover to my taste, but It definitely adds up quick, especially for new families trying to save their pennys. I can't picture motherhood without it, so in my case, it was worth the extra expense.

Opening is way too narrow. Unless you are very small, the pillow is not likely to fit comfortably around any nursing mom's belly.

I really love my Mombo. With my first child I found positioning baby for feedings was difficult so this time around I purchased the Mombo. It has been amazing! It really helps support and position my little girl and makes breastfeeding easier this time around. Baby is very comfortable using it too. Sometimes too comfortable as she falls asleep before feeding is finished. I love that the slipcover easily comes off and back on for washing. Great having the firm and softer side.
Vibrations are a great touch too!

I got this pillow along with the Taggies cover for my second child. I like the fact that it has dual sides and a built in pocket vibration system. The pillow side is very soft as I occasionally rest my head on the side my daughter is not so she can look at me. The nursing side is firm and supportive. There are two things I didn't like. 1) the Instructions stated a battery that I didn't know of L44 or something. When my husband opened the case it stated C and suddenly it made sence. 2) the vibration feature is very sensitive and can turn on at the slightest pressure when outof the case. So much so I had to take out the battery.

I really love my little boy themed Mombo Pillow. It is perfect for nursing, and doubles as a soothing support for baby. The vibrating feature is so wonderful,and really helps to calm a fussy baby. The mombo is too tight on my stomach and too bulky to use in the expensive rocker we bought for our nursery. I'm not sure how it compares to other pillows (this is the only one I've owned) but it seems heavy and is kind of a pain to try and carry around while I'm holding my baby.
