I gave this umbrella to my granddaughter age 9. I fully agree with the previous review. She is right on the mark. It's sturdy for a "normal" rain. However, it would not hold up in a storm. I have purchased 3 at the bogo price.
Well worth it.

    Bought 3 of these for our girls ages 4, 6 and 8 and they love it! It is well made and very colorful. Sturdy but not enough for windy days, just for regular rainy/sprinkly days maybe light wind. It looks just like the picture, extremely lightweight, and the size is good.
