    Very poorly made. After light was turned on it got extremely hot but the lava material never moved. The pink lava glob was in a murky, dirty fluid in a bottle with a metal soda cap that you set cap end down into the thin metal black base with the light bulb. It was so hot that we placed a tile trivet under it and moved all flammable items off the night stand. Lava just sits immobile in the bottle but my grandaughter still wanted it for the light and Monster High Graphics. I hope we don't end up regretting it.If it had cost more I would have returned it but she didn't care about the Lava part of Lava Lamp working as she has never seen one working.If you want a true Lava Lamp don't buy this one. It is just a bright night light.

      My daughter received this for her birthday. She is a big fan of Monster High and this was a cute addition to her room. After initial heating of 3-4 hours, it has worked great. She is very happy with it!

        I had read everyone else's reviews on this before I purchased this so I was a little hesitant about buying this, but I knew my daughter would love it. So I bought it, put it together and the lava heated up in about 4 hours and has worked great ever since. Absolutly nothing wrong with it.

            They were a little smaller than I expected but they really are cute. Purchased two of these. One online and 1 from TRUs Store, both work really great. Lava flows nicely, no clouding and they kinda of cast a pink glow in the room with the lights off. Great nitelite!

                      Like other reviews I was disappointed, but made it work. The liquid is NOT clear, it is white. The 15w bulb that came with it did not heat the lava enough to make it move. Replaced it with a 25w bulb to make it work.

                                      cute and nice for the price... But i must say it doesnt look as normal lava lamps... The movement is pretty slow.... And it takes around 6 hrs to start working properly "slow". But either way my 10 year old daughter is happy to have received it for her birthday :)
