When I received the pool I immediately got it ready. During the first use the pool started deflating. I re-inflated just for this to happen again. Very disappointing now that I have to try to get it back in the box and return.

I bought this product about a week ago for my 2 daughters (ages 6 and 3) to play around in for the summer. We are planning to put in an underground pool but not until this winter (saving $).
The girls were SO excited and ready to splash when I brought it home. It took my husband about 20 minutes to inflate it with his air compressor. It also took about an hour to fill with water from the hose. But then the girls played for hours. An seem to love it.
But, with the rain filling it up to almost overfull and when the water reached pretty warm temperature from sitting in the hot FL sun. Plus all the dirt and bugs sitting on the bottom. I cleaned it today because they wouldn't go in it (bottom got yucky slippery).
Much to my surprise there is NO drain hole. Why???Which I thought was odd to a inflatable pool this size. So 45 minutes later of me using a bucket to take out as much water as I could to be able to lift this thing in order to wipe it down, clean and hose it off. I have to admit I'm not as excited to fill it up again knowing that next week I am going through emptying it again and cleaning. We are thinking of purchasing the 10' pool with a filter, a little bit more $ but I think worth it with hopefully not all the hassle. To get us through the summer until hopefully we get our own pool.
Take in consideration a way to empty this pool (maybe a pump not just bucket) when you have to clean it. Which I think woold have to be weekly here in FL.

Love the size for my one-year-old and I can sit it in with her without feeling silly sitting in a baby pool. We bought a pump and cover and was very excited about setting it up- until the next morning when the bottom chamber was completely deflated. Half the water poured out! My husband has been trying to find the hole so we can patch it, since the other reviews say they won't exchange it or take it back, but has been unsuccessful. Waste of money!

I bought this kiddie pool for my kids and love it more than any I've bought before; including expensive ones. This pool is HUGE and the value for the money is super! It's easy to set up, fill and clean. I really can fit a whole family.

My kids and I love this pool. I love how big it is for the price. Big enough for adults to sit in it while kids are playing around. I used a shop vac to blow it up and that made blowing up fast. When it came time to empty it out I just had my kids lay on the walls in one area to drain the pool most of the way then I was able to flip it over. Cleaning the pool was easy too. just took a rag with the hose and wiped it clean before filling again. I will buy this pool again!!!

Our kids love the pool. The water is deeper than normal kid pools and they like that. I do not like how hard the pool is to clean. I have to empty most of the water out bucket by bucket. I do this at least every other day, so my back feels it. It takes a long time to empty out enough water, so that you can turn the pool over and empty the remaining water. Otherwise, it's a fine pool

The item was as expected. Nothing fancy. But it is a Christmas present from Santa, so it would be nice if Toys R Us didn't have to write on the back of the box that it is an "exclusively made for Toys R Us" item. It is not the type of thing my kids could use until the summer, so it's not like I would take it out of the box and blow it up. I guess I'll be buying some Christmas stickers.

$10 at a local home store will get a blue plastic woven tarp to put on the ground underneath. Rake to pick up small sticks and stones before laying down the tarp. It will add life to the bottom lining. Tried setting it up on the deck, but it was too hard and flat. The kids slipped and fell more there than when it was in the yard. It lasted all summer. Put a small tub of water outside the pool for the kids to step in before getting in. Put in 1/2 cup of bleach for the whole pool to keep the bacteria down.

Okay so after reading all the negative and so-so customer reviews I was really nervous about actually buying this product...but I'm very glad I did!I wanted something that would be shallow enough for my 2 year old to play in without being overly intimidated since she's recently developed a mild fear of water, but I also wanted something big enough that my 10 year old could splash around in without being bored out of his mind or feeling ridiculous sitting in a 3 foot radius of 8 inch deep water. This fit the bill wayyy better than I expected!Everyone who keeps whining about how difficult it is to inflate this pool needs to get.over.it. I bought the cheapo $15 electric air pump and it works perfectly, both sections of the pool were inflated within 10 minutes. It did take 30-45 minutes to fill the pool with water, but I have poor water pressure and that's to be expected with a pool this size anyway. If you've got decent water pressure or multiple hoses, yours would probably be full in much less time!Once the pool was inflated and full both my kids were in there for nearly the entire day, and because it's a pretty shallow pool the water was nice and warm after about an hour so there was no complaining about being cold! :)Of course there could be a drain plug for cleaning, and it would be super helpful if there were, but deflation is 100 times faster than inflation. Just unscrew the plastic caps and pop out the rubber stops and the whole thing is deflated in about 5 minutes flat. Rinse it out with some fresh water and then wipe it down with some disinfecting/cleansing wipes, reinflate and refill. No problem!You don't need to do this all the time, only when the bottom of the pool gets slick from the dust and such that settles at the bottom, only once a week for us! If you're the germophope type parents, don't bother getting a personal pool for your kids in the first place cos you'll never be able to keep the water crystal clean for more than a day anyway. For everyone else, they're KIDS! They're gonna get dirty when they play outside! The water's gonna get a little muck, grass and leaves in it, and it's FINE. It won't kill them just like it didn't kill us when we were kids!The other complaint I saw was people saying the rings get deflated "very quickly". I was freaking out thinking the pool was gonna be half deflated after my kids had only been in it for an hour. Nope, it was still PERFECTLY FULL when they got out. I can only imagine that the people saying this either recieved defective pools or that they neglected to tell their children not to jump on/lean over/sit on/put unecessary pressure against or otherwise abuse the inflated rings...which one would think is pretty obvious because it's an INFLATABLE pool. If you're rough with anything that inflates it WILL deflate quickly or even pop. That being said, my kids and their two cousins (ages 8&5) were kinda rough with the pool anyway, leaning and pushing on it, and my 2 yr old put all of her body weight on it in order to climb in lol; it still withstood everything they threw at it just fine.The rings DO deflate a little each night, the bottom one more than the top. But again this should be expected because the bottom ring is the one that has most of the pressure from the water pushing against it as well as the weight from the top ring. Simply use the air pump to refill the rings, bottom one first, once a day. It LITERALLY only takes me 3 minutes to refill them adequately, and if I forget it'll still hold up for 2 days without being inflated before a little water spills out.***I DO recommend making sure you put this on flat ground AND definitely put a tarp beneath it just to avoid getting premature punctures in the bottom. If they weren't out of the pool cover I would have bought one, I'm doing fine without it, but I imagine it would mean emptying and cleaning the pool even less. This pool does take about an hour to inflate and fill, it does require being deflated to clean, and you do have to maintain the air pressure at least every other day. But really just keep in mind that any pool requires maintainance, even the nice permanent cement pools. The maintainance on this one is seriously low key and it's a fantastic product for only [$]. If at any point it becomes too damaged to use, I would buy another in a heartbeat!***OH AND IF YOU EVER GET A HOLE IN AN INFLATABLE POOL DON'T BOTHER USING THE REPAIR PATCHES, THEY ALWAYS STINK! But if you use some silicone caulking, the kind used on bathtubs, you can seal that sucker right up and not worry about that hole ever again. Also works wonderfully on innertubes, water wings, pretty much all inflatable pool toys ;)
