    What a great deal this is! This is a real bike, not a toy-ish bike substitute. My son wanted it based purely on looks, but I had to give it the once over before purchase. Even after careful scrutiny, I was sold on it so we purchased. He's been riding it almost non stop as the weather has been ridiculously mild as of late. Everything works great - gears shift, shock works, and nothing slips. A smart purchase on my part if I do say so!

    Seems like a sturdy bike, but much like one of the other reviews I have had issues with the derailer as well. I printed off instructions from the internet on how to adjust the derailer. The adjustment instructions are fine, but it just won't adjust far enough toward the wheel. Because of this, it will not stay in 1st gear on the rear derailer and it skips gears when you change. I'm taking it back to Toys R Us and most likely purchasing a different brand.

      I bought this bike for my 12 year old son. This is a very good, rugged, yet lightweight bike for a very reasonable price. Shipping was fast, assembly was minimal and easy and my son loves it! There's not much more that I could ask for.

                    Bike is great. Son loves it. Gave rating of four rather than five only because directions on assembly not clear. My husband and I are both college educated and we could not understand the directions. If you have never put a bike together before, you may want to have it done by someone else.
