We bought this swing for our 7 week old since he likes movement and we couldn't hold him 24/7. He loves the swing, whether he is awake and content or taking a nap. We love the open top construction and that the bucket can be adjusted to 4 different swing positions. There is a hard bar that is felt through the bottom of the seat (as other reviews had mentioned); however, we just put a blanket on the seat and it doesn't bother our son. We've been using it for about a month and have been pleased thus far.

This product is a quality product with great construction. It easily mimicks mom or dad's swaying motion to soothe to sleep. The faster it swings, the better!

The music and white noise has a large selection, my son loves different things depending on his mood so that is convenient.

Even when he is not using the swing, it's in use. He has to sleep with some type of white noise, so this swing is in our bedroom, playing "rain" through the night. Since it plugs in, we do not have to worry about wasting batteries.

My son has to be in the right mood (or so overly tired) to enjoy this swing which is a real shame because so many babies love this swing. We learned recently that he has silent reflux and we think that might be the reason why he isn't a fan (just bad positioning for him).

We will be holding onto this swing for baby #2 in the future as this really is a great, quality product that mimicks the motion babies need from their parents to be soothed. Unfortunately, my child's reflux has gotten in the way of enjoying it fully. :(

The product is as advertised, but neither of my kids liked it. I bought it because they like to be carried upright and thought this would help. They will not tolerate it. They love the my little lamb 'normal' swing.

I researched swings for weeks. One of my biggest issues is space. We went with this swing due to great reviews, but most of all the base wasn't as wide as most swings. We loved the music it played and the option to plug it in. Sad to say, our baby hates this swing. He cries and cries the minute we put him in. I couln't figure out what was wrong. After weeks of trying different things, I realized that since the swing arm comes from below, our poor baby is sitting on that hard base. The bar & the base are right under his back/butt and is hard. It is also lacking in softness and padding. The material crinkles and crunches when you touch it. I wouldn't want to be put in this thing. What a waste. We now borrowed a Fisher Price swing with lots of soft fluffy padding & he loves it. Beware of this swing. It is like sitting on hard pavement. Also, it is not easy to put together.

I love this swing! It has the most natural and smooth rocking motion. I also enjoy the more compact footprint compared to other types of swings and the fact that you can plug it in, yay no batteries required! Our 7 week year old loves it! It's nice that the seat can be more reclined for sleeping or more upright when you want. We are very pleased we decided to buy this swing. Oh, and its not too heavy when you want to move it.

I love this swing! I was looking for a quality swing for a newborn that I wouldn't trip over, not low to the ground and that didn't swing wildly even at the lowest setting. I'm so glad I found this swing, it is all of that and more! And it looks really cool too, I get compliments on it all the time.

My newborn loves the swing. He sleeps better in the swing than his crib. It doesn't squeak or make any sounds (unless you put on the music.) Another great benefit is that is can swing in two directions. The only negative I can find is that the toy attachment is not very exciting.

After my husband and I finally got this swing together, we plugged it into the wall, and it wouldn't swing. We found out after 15 minutes of fidiling with it, it would only swing if you stood there and held in the button. We called Graco, and they said they'd send us a replacement motor in 2 weeks. 3 weeks came and went, and I heard/eceived nothing. I called them again, and they said the motor was on back order til almost June. (I purchased this late March). I asked for a return label, and have still received no word from Graco. While the swing is cute, it is useless. What a waste of time and money!
