bought this rc car because of its small size. it has great accelerations and it never gets stuck anywhere. the range of the remote is pretty good considering the size and the batteries last long! on the bad side, it's hard to really direct it anywhere you want it to go because the buttons on the remote need to be pressed or released exactly at the same time (otherwise the car turns).

This was a Christmas gift for my 6 year old Kindergarten son. It's a zippy little thing that is even fun for my husband and I to play with. Most importantly, it's tough and bounces right off of anything it runs into. The batteries lasted about 3 weeks, which I think is pretty good, considering how fast it is and the fact that all R/C stuff seems to need frequent battery changes. It's a great value for your money! If there is one downside, it would be that it's a little tricky to control (for me, but seems to be no issue for our son).

This is an amazing little RC car. It's incredibly fast. It's almost too fast. It's also very, very durable. My 3-year-old son has sent it careening down the stairs multiple times and it never skips a beat. It can flip over and keep on going. It does eat through batteries, but at a rate you would expect. We use rechargables, and don't mind at all.

I could not believe how fast this car goes for an RC! Great fun and super durable! Perfect for a kid who likes speed and rugged RC vehicles! Its a bit hard to control but thats only because it goes so fast! Probably easier on a lot of open space.

goes to fast to try to control for a child. steering is confusing. i just wouldn't recommend it.

Fast and fun, but be prepared to buy alot of AAA batteries. Had to replace within first 3 hours of playtime. Second day of playtime and changing batteries again.

This little car is FANTASTIC. It is super strong and super durable. It is absurdly fast and hysterical fun to play with. My 24 month old absolutely loves it. the controller is easy for him to hold and control the car (it also fits my hand just fine, and im 6'2)
he has smashed this car into walls, doors, furniture, people, stairs, off boxes, through grass and dirt and mud and it still works great!!!
i want to emphasize the strength and durablity of this car, imagine if you will, that you are holding an expensive remote control car. take that car and throw it as hard and as far as you can. sounds like a bad idea right? it wouldnt even phase the Fast Lane JLX Micro Drive. this car is like a rock, an insanely fast, four wheeled, instant fun rock!
in an effort to make this a balanced review, i wish that it was a little easier to steer. it is so fast that it feels like its out of control.
also it is battery operated and eats through them quickly!! get rechargeables!!! you will be changing the batteries EVERY DAY.
hard to steer cuz its so fast, eats batteries cuz its so fast, TOTALLY AWESOME, BECAUSE ITS SO FAST!!!!!!

To say my son is rough on his toys is an understatement, but this compact RC vehicle holds up to all of his wipe outs, crashes, etc. I am very impressed by the durability and overall quality of this item and would definitely recommend it.
