Got this for our 6 year old daughter's room because it was inexpensive. For the first 3 weeks it worked great and still does, but the remote has decided to suddenly work the TV too. Can't figure out why and the support website they provide does not exist. So she can still watch movies, just can't use the remote for extra features unless she points it right at the DVD player and blocks it from the TV sensor.

I had looked at other Blu-ray players, and since this was going to be my first one, I figured that I would start off with one that wasn't that expensive as I wasn't sure how many blu-ray disk I would really be buying. I find this one to be really good for the most part. The only problem that I have had is that every couple of days I have to unplug it then plug it back in to get it to work. The setup was easy, and I haven't had any problems playing any disk.

This was an inexpensive (on-line [$]) Blu Ray player so my expectations were not very high, but wow was I surprised! I could not believe I could get Blu Ray player for the price of a DVD Player, the unit is compact and is very basic but what a great picture.
