    Our 8 month old daughter was obsessed with trying to grab our remote, so we looked for a toy that was similar to the real thing. This one really looks like our remote, and it has some cute songs and "channels." The only thing I don't like is that there is an on/off switch on the side, but no volume switch. There is a volume up/down button on the face of the remote, and that does change the volume, but the baby easily changes it back and forth while playing. So it's not an effective volume control. Other than that, it's great! The buttons are really easy to press, and there are a lot of them to keep her little fingers busy. It was a good price as well.

    I bought this for my Grandson when he was 13 months old, now he is 18 months & he has never shown much interest in it at all :(
    The suggested ages for this product is 6 months to 3 years; therefore, I thought this might satisfy his need for the real remote but this won't do.
    Once at his house I was trying to get their tv to change from dvd to tv & I was getting frustrated & he brought me the xbox controller - well I wanted to fall on the floor! lol I had the wrong remote & he knew it!
    That should have been a "clue" that this toy wasn't going entertain him much less fool him :) The ages for this toy should be 6 months - 1 year.

    This is a great alternative to our actual TV remote control. My seven month old son presses all of the buttons with ease and is able to pick it up, manipulate it, and hold it. He loves listening to the sounds and watching the lights. What I dislike and actually can't believe is that the blue numbers are wearing off of the buttons! We just purchased the remote five days ago, and it is looking like an old, hand-me-down! I'm quite disappointed in the durability factor of this Fisher Price product, but my son doesn't seem to notice or mind! He still has fun with it.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    A good distraction toy for your diaper bag . The music is cheery & not to loud. Does make my baby wiggle to it. She gets bored with it even in the car but it is a diaper bag favorite. Small enough to carry and distracting for a few minutes. Also has a on/off button so it won't continue to go off in diaper bag.

    grandma bought this for my son. its really cute and its a good thing to keep in the diaper bag in case your should need something to distract your little one. but my son doesn't really play with it all that much. maybe for other kids it would be better but my son is very active so this usually just gets tossed and passed over.

          My 8 month old always wanted to play with the big kids remote. Now she has her own and she loves it. It has volume control and an on/off switch which is very useful. It has a red light that lights up when you press a button. Great product.

            My sons dad bought this for him for his first birthday, and Alex really enjoys this. He loves the sounds/music that it plays, but he is too smart to believe that this is a real deal remote. He still tries to grab at the real remotes (which I have now given him one that doesn't have any batteries in it) so yes, the toy is entertaining, but I can't see 3 year olds still wanting to play with this.

            My 6 month old would not leave our overpriced, programmable remote alone, so we bought her this one. She enjoys it enough to leave the real thing alone most of the time. The songs get very annoying very quickly and I was glad it has an on/off switch. It took her a few months to figure out how to turn it back on when Mommy's ears can't handle another "I like orange and silver, too!" I swear I hear this toy in my sleep. But she likes it and after 6 months it is in good shape and still engages her. She likes to drop it on the hardwood floor and it still looks fairly new.

            Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            My son played with this toy every day from about 5-9 months. He still grabs it every once and awhile, but it no longer holds his attention. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because it's advertised for a child up to 3 years of age but I would say it's good til 1 year.

                My daughter wouldn't leave out tv remote alone so I was out one day and happened to see this on the shelf in a store. I bought it for her and she absolutely loves it. She was about 10 months old I guess when I bought it and she still plays with it everyday now that she's almost 14 months old. She loves anything that plays music and this sings different songs.

                    Our 4 month old kept reaching for our tv remote so I found this online and figured I'd try it out! What a Great purchase! It plays lots of songs and says the numbers. The only thing I did was I put some clear tape over the speaker cause it was pretty loud!! Vito is 5 months now and still loves his remote! He will be playing with this for awhile!
