The unit started off great for a few weeks then slowly started falling apart. First one of the converters that plugs into the wall stopped working so I could only use batteries for that reciever. Then the transmitter will over heat and send abunch of static I have to unplug it and let it cool down. That only worked for a few weeks now it doesn't matter if its hot or cold its just static and I've tried different rooms with different wall sockets. We used another brand monitor with our first baby and it worked great for years. Safety First only weeks.

having big problem with the cord connection. its was good for about 4 months then the inside part where the plug is to the parent side was getting loose and cord would not stay in the moniter part. Went thru 2 in a year!thank goodness the were gifts. But yet still sorry my friends wasted there money on a bad product!!!

Baby is 12 days old, I never right reviews but felt I should this time. The feedback on the monitors is horrible. It cannot be near any other electronics, major problem for us! The only place it does not get feedback is the kitchen counter, not helpful for hearing baby wake up. We found that 5 feet of clearance from any electronics is the only way it works. Easy to control if I'm home alone, not easy when we have visitors. Between tv, phone (cell and cordless), iPad, Kindle, laptop, alarm clock and other household regular electronics, I hear the baby 10% of the time from the monitor and 90% of the time across the house with my own ears. Wish I could return but it was a gift off our registry and I can't find the gift receipt for it. Wish I had read the other reviews, I would have chosen a different one. Feeling stuck with a very poorly made product.

This product has way to much feedback noise. The only way it works well without the feedback is if you are in the room right beside the unit. We tried all the channels, with or without batteries. DO NOT BUY, unless you don't mind the noise!!!

Parent units not working on battery only. Very prominent humming/white noise. Returning this for a digital DECT 6.0 monitor

The monitors are junk, no doubt about it. But look at the price. So my experience was on par with everyone elses. The monitors make a horrible buzzing noise, this noise is electrical interferrence. So I took them to my workshop and wrapped the transmitter with electrical tape to block any excessive electrical interferrence. After wrapping two layers onto the transmitter, no more buzzing

Terrible reception. Very fuzzy and lots of interference. My baby was awake and I couldn't even hear him babbling due to static! Very poor product.

For the first couple months the monitor worked fine with little static on the receivers. 5 months owning the monitor, the static got worse/louder and intermitently we just get pure static and doesn't transmit anything. Out of all the items the baby doesn't touch, it breaks just sitting on the counter.

Had it on 1 night. Lots of static and in middle of night was woken up with a soft alarm going off. Terrible unit. Not worth 2cents. Will be returning it as soon as possible.

we registered for this item and got it at our baby shower our son is on the other end of the house so we use it every night.The problem is you can put brand new batteries in and it always says low battery so it has to be plugged in at all times plus its very staticky.do not but this junk!
